Remus sat with James and Peter in The Great Hall at lunch, buttering a bread roll, when Sirius rushed up to them, sitting across Remus and snatching the bread roll out of his hands.

"Wha- Hey!" The boy protested, "I was gonna eat that."

"Why didn't you tell me that you went on a date with Lydia?" Sirius interrogated.

Remus groaned, "It wasn't a date. We were just hanging out like friends do. And we didn't tell you because we both knew that you would get all dramatic about it. Like you are now," He said, "Now, may I please have my bread roll back."

Sirius sighed, putting the carbohydrate back into his friends hand.

"You have butter on your hand now." Peter pointed out to his shaggy-haired friend.

"So, what did you two do on your not so date, that really wasn't a date, that Sirius was convinced was a date and is now very sad that it wasn't a date?" James asked.

"Okay, the fact that I understood exactly what you just said proves that we hang out to much," Remus said, "And we just went for a walk in the woods surrounding Hogsmeade." He shrugged.

"Aha!" Sirius exclaimed, pointing his buttered hand at Remus, "A classic sign of love, the walk in the woods surrounding Hogsmeade."

Remus shook his head, "No it's not."

"Yeah, it's a very platonic thing to do." James agreed.

"We go on walks in the woods surrounding Hogsmeade." Peter added.

Sirius sighed, "Okay, well, then what did you talk about?"

"Not much," Remus shrugged, "We found out that she's very good at predicting how many time you'll flirt with Avery during a Quidditch match," He said, pointing at Sirius, "We made a bet that whoever bites or picks at their nails or fingers first has to buy everyone butterbeers."

"Free butterbeer for us," Peter nodded, "Nice."

Remus chuckled, "Yeah, I guess. And, um, she told me another story from Greek mythology."

"Another?" James asked.

"Story?" Peter raised an eyebrow.

"Greek mythology?" Sirius finished, licking the butter off of his hand.

Remus smiled in amusement at his friends, "Yeah, she loves Greek mythology," He nodded, "She told me about the story of the Pegasus during our last Astronomy lesson."
