They boarded the Vindicaar and Velen brought them to their room. "This is where the two of you will be staying." Velen said and Kai nodded with a smile.
"Thank you Valen, even if Illidan doesn't express it-" Kai looked at Illidan who huffed and entered the room, "He is grateful for everything you've done."
"You are welcome Keyleth. As for Illidan he is required at the front of the ship." Velen said and Kai nodded. She thanked him once again before closing the door and looking to Illidan who was holding Az.
"You know Mr. Dark Lord, you could be nicer to Velen and Khadgar. They are putting up with me and Az." Kai said kissing his cheek and going to the crib which had Azariah's favorite bat toy.
"Our little princess needs her sleep, she's going to have to get adjusted to everything." Kai said as Illidan kissed her forehead and placed her into the crib.
"I'm needed on deck?" Illidan asked and Kai sighed with a nod. "I'll be back as soon as a I can." Illidan said hugging her and kissing her head. "Watch our daughter."
Kai hummed and watched Illidan leave before she turned her attention to Azariah. She had fallen asleep already and Kai sighed and turned to the bare room, she sighed and looked at her armor. She had gotten a mannequin to keep the armor framed to a body of sorts, her Warblade on the wooden figures hand. She let her fingers traced along the careful and intricate stitching she made. The needle guided the fabric and after all these years the thread hadn't snapped. She snapped out of her daze as the ship rocked violently and Azariah started to cry.
Kai grabbed Azariah and held her. Kai bounced her gently and grabbed her Warblade. She went to the deck and saw everybody looking out to the burn scared world of Argus. The pain hit Kai like a wave of water, she held herself up and Illidan was at her side in a instant.
"Why are you up here?" Illidan snapped looking around for the threat attacking them.
"Your forget Illidan Stormrage, I am your lover and the mother of your child. I go where I please." Kai snapped glaring at him. "I can feel the pain of this planet, well what remains of it." Kai said looking out to the fell covered planet.
Azariah was hysterically crying and she knew she could feel the pain too. "Khadgar, I need your help." Kai said brushing past Illidan using her staff to keep herself upright.
"What can I do to help?" Khadgar said looking to the wailing child, she was worse than a banshee sometimes.
"I'm pretty sure she can feel the pain of Argus like I can, I was wondering if you could make a dampener or something to help ease that pain." Kai said letting herself cast a soothing spell which turned Azariah's wails into soft crying.
"I have a spell that might work." Khadgar said reaching besides him and grabbing his grimoire. he opened the pages as Kai gently bounced Az trying to calm her back down. "Here it is, do you have a piece of jewelry I can enchant?" Kai felt her neck and her fingers touched the cold metal of her father's necklace, that necklace in itself helped Kai control her magic.
"Would a piece of cloth do?" Kai asked pulling off Illidan's blindfold which had been around her neck and on her horns. "I can rip it into strips and braid it into a bracelet." Kai said looking to Illidan.
"Come here princess." Illidan said taking the baby from Kai's arms and she took her dagger and cut the cloth up into three pieces, she then took a strip of her dress and wove it in between the two pieces. "a piece of me and a piece of her father." Kai said with a smile. She handed the bracelet to Khadgar who started to mumble some incantation under his breath. His hands glowed a light blue and the bracelet lifted into the air and out of his hands.
