Things had been hectic, after Kai saw parts of the future she dove into studying about her species. She had become close friends with Illidan and Malfurion but Tyrande still didn't forgive her. The thing about Tyrande was that she held grudges for centuries. For Kai's case she was the prime age of 1,018, Malfurion started to learn Druidism, Tyrande became a sister of Elune and Illidan- he hasn't done much. Illidan even though he had amber eyes was confused to what path he should take, he joined Ravencrest and trained with him. He became leader of the Moongaurd where he focused more on casting then fighting. No matter where Illidan went he always made sure to keep in contact with Kai, they often sent letters to each other when he was away from Lor'lathil.

Kai made her way through the forest to what she considered home, a small cave she found thanks to Illidan. Though she figured he and a few of his other mage friends use some sort of spell to carve out the rock she now called home. Kai passed through the barrier to see a hunched over figure.

"Surprise!" He said and Kai instantly launched herself into his chest with a smile.

"Illidan your back!" Kai said happily pulling away and looking at him. "What you got muscles so now you don't wear shirts?" She giggled and he chuckled.

"I didn't stop by the palace, I decided to come here first. I just got done with a mission." Illidan said and Kai tossed him a shirt. "You cut your horns?"

"Funny story actually- I broke them." Kai said blushing and Illidan burst into laughter. "Hey! It wasn't my fault!"

"Uh Huh well then do tell." Illidan said putting on his shirt and sitting in a chair.

"I was climbing and I accidentally fell a few-" Illidan raised a brow, "fifty feet." Kai said and Illidan smiled..

"I'm shocked you haven't died yet, but I'm sure you had your roots catch you." Illidan said and Kai nodded.

"Not fast enough though, I landed headfirst and my horns snapped, I had to pull the snapped part off." Kai said and she felt the broken piece of horn.

"Here, at the palace we did this for the elk when they broke their horns." Illidan made her sit down and he grabbed a knife, "this may cause some discomfort."

Kai winced as he cut the fractured part of her horns off. He set them down besides her and blew softly at the pieces of horn he didn't quite brush away. "I'm sorry did that hurt?" He asked concerned and Kai shook her head 'no'.

"It was uncomfortable." Kai said looking at the fractured antlers. "I'm going to have vines for hair now." Kai grumbled disliking the fact she only had one arch.

"Please your vines will still grow." Illidan leaning close to her face and plucking a vine from her head which was replaced with five.

"Elune you are such a flirt!" Kai said slapping him and he pulled her hand towards his chest. She twirled towards him and bumped into his chest. "Did this make you happy?"

"Quite ecstatic." Illidan said twirling her around. "I've always dreamt I could do this with Tyrande." Illidan said and Kai rolled her eyes.

"She's with your brother Illidan, the love triangle you have with her isn't healthy." Kai commented as she got up to grab a plate of food. Though she couldn't ignore the way vines sprouted when she heard Tyrande.

"She would realize i'm the one for her if she would just give me a chance." Illidan said and Kai set down a platter of meat cheese and bread. "After that whole orc incident she won't even look at me."

"You should get someone who truly loves you Illidan, not Tyrande who would rather see you dead than blossom." Kai said taking a piece of cheese and eating a small piece.
