Kai landed in Lor'lathil and she took Frost to the Grove of Cenarius. She entered the Grove and was met with dryads. She smiled and walked over to her father who was talking to A group of druids, they looked to be brand new students.
"Ah Keyleth! To what do I owe the pleasure?" Cenarius said and all the druids surrounding him stared at her.
"But master isn't that a demon?" a familiar voice asked and Kai looked at her.
"Not a demon no, a Nature Spirit at its purest form." Cenarius answered, "Kai is my daughter."
"I apologize if I've insulted you!" She said quickly bowing in front of Kai. "My name is Fen."
"Ah that's why you're so familiar, your the Night Elf from the Grove." Kai chuckled and motioned for her to get up, "It's no wonder you found the Grove of flowers."
"Ah the Grove the demons burnt to a crisp?' Cenarius asked and Kai nodded. "Well you'll be happy to know that my druids we're able to heal the fel burnt land."
"You've healed the land?" Kai asked and Cenarius nodded with a smile.
"Of course, I know how much that land meant to you and I live to make these lands better." He said motioning around to the green lands. "My druids you are dismissed, we'll meet back here tomorrow. Until then I want you to practice the growth spell I've demonstrated." Cenarius offered his hand and Kai took it.
"Thank you, you didn't have to heal the land yet you did. I appreciate it." Kai said with a smile and Cenarius smiled.
"Of course my daughter." Cenarius said leading her to a small house that seemed to be composed of nothing but vines and small trees.
"This is where you live?" Kai said looking around to the green rooms. "I'm not judging at all, i quite like it."
"This is where i stay when I'm not wandering the Emerald Dream, it's not much but then again I'm not here for long." Cenarius said and Kai nodded, "but what brings you here my daughter, you dont visit me often."
"Well i've only known you were my father for three months and in those months i've been trying to save Illidan."
"Which you've succeeded in. Though I'm assuming that adventure cost you a lot of your energy."
"Which is why i decided to come home, i needed some time to recharge. Plus i thought it would be nice to visit you, considering you are my father." Kai said and Cenarius sat down so they were at eye level. "I see you've taken on new apprentices?"
"Ah yes, just a few Night Elves that sought me out to help the lands. I'm showing them that the power to heal also lies within them." Cenarius said and Kai smiled. They talked for a long while and Cenarius ended up making her dinner. The evening they spent together already had Kai feeling better. Cenarius offered that once night fell they should go visit the Grove, honestly Kai couldn't wait.
Cenarius offered his hand and Kai walked along with him to the grove she said goodbye to. The land was already responding to their energies happily as they walked along a trail. This time the trail was clearly walked and anyone could see it. Kai watched the flowers bloom at her feet mix with the flowers blooming by her fathers. The vines were pushed aside and Kai smiled at the sight of the flowers.
There wasn't a touch of fel left on the land, all the black had been replaced with a green rainbow. Kai didn't even realize there were so many shades of green. The flowers were back at full bloom, the delicate blossoms swaying in the gentle breeze. Shades of orange, red, white and even blue were visible in the field. It was even better than before.
"Do you like what my druids and I were able to do?" Cenarius asked and Kai jumped into his arms with giggles escaping her mouth.
"I love it, it's even better than before!" Kai said happily looking around the field. She smiled happily as she plucked a flower form the earth, she disregarded the pain she felt and held the sweet scented flower to her nose. "I've always loved these flowers." Kai said happily taking off her flower crown and realizing the purple colored flower in the middle. "Illidan." She sighed gently caressing the flowers and Cenarius smiled.
