Malfurion was the one who found her, it had been two years and she traveled around the lands searching for any signs of demonic energies. He told her that Illidan woke him from his emerald dream and told Malfurion that Azeroth was in danger. She had already lost so much so she tried to help Malfurion in any way she could.
"Malfurion we caught him just outside our borders." The guards said tossing a man into the room Kai and Malfurion were in.
"Illidan?"
"Illidan!" Kai bent down and picked him up quickly. Malfurion was at his side. The first thing Kai noticed was the bright green fell colored tattoos that wrapped around his body.
"I know how to close the demon portal but it's risky!" Illidan said and Kai and Malfurion gave each other looks.
"We haven't seen you for two years and that's the first thing you say to us?" Kai asked sounding pissed. "It's nice to see you too Illidan how have you been? Oh you've gotten your eyes burned out and you have fell tattoos that sounds great. I've been busy tending to the land because demons keep messing everything up." Kai snapped and Malfurion rested a hand on her shoulder.
"A warning would have been nice Illidan, or some form of contact." Malfurion said and Illidan stood up and looked at them.
"I would have kept in contact if I could have. I've been to busy trying to figure out a way to get rid of demons." Illidan said looking between the two of them. "We use the Well of Eternity."
"That would kill us." Malfurion said and Kai took a set aside and tried to figure out how that would work exactly.
"Your going to drink the water of Eternity." Kai said and Malfurion looked at him disgusted.
"Nobody has ever dared to do this." Malfurion snapped and Kai hummed.
"It will work, I've planned this out." Illidan said. Malfurion summoned Tyrande and the three of them tried to figure out how this would work. Kai kept quiet but she listened to what they were planning, it would work but it was 50/50.
It took a whole month before they could actually do this. Kai didn't have any part in this but rather made sure everything went accordingly in nature. Merlin was perched on her horns and she cast a few nature spells. She heard footsteps behind her and she turned around to see Illidan.
"What do you want." Kai muttered bitterly and Illidan sat down besides her. "No."
"No what. I'm just sitting besides my friend who is ignoring me." Illidan said and Kai sighed.
"She's ignoring you for a damn good reason, two years and not even a letter. You were sending me letters when you were working for demons but suddenly you couldn't." Kai watched the vines in her hair grow longer and she sighed. "I thought you died Illidan."
"I won't die don't worry." Illidan said stroking her hair and she relaxed against his body. "This will work don't worry, we've all been doing out parts."
"Im worried about what will happen to you, Illidan the water could kill you." Kai said resting her hands on the earth.
"Well then I'll make sure it doesn't." Illidan said sounding cocky and Kai hit him.
"I call upon the earth to offer me a talisman of protection." Kai said closing her eyes and focusing. When she opened her eyes a purple star lily was in front of her. She carefully plucked the flower from the earth and handed it to Illidan.
"This is radiant with purple energy." Illidan said cradling the flower gently. "I can see the flower."
"It's suppose to protect you, I learned over the last two years that I can summon flowers and herbs to help protect people." Kai explained and he smiled.
