Nighthold was even more beautiful than Kai remembered. She had went there once with her mother when she was younger, before it's fall. Khadgar and her were fighting her way back to the top of Nighthold where Gul'dan was holding Illidan's body.

"Fight the demon that lives within his body!" Gul'dan yelled using a bubble of some sort to protect his body. Illidan's body landed on the platform and Kai grimaced at the sight.

"Kill the demon possessing his body!" Khadgar yelled and Kai rooted his body to the earth as Khadgar threw spells at his body. Gul'dan laughed at their attempts and Kai drained his stamina which in turn fueled hers. His attacks got sloppy and he ended up dropping on of his glaives.

Kai dropped her staff and grabbed the glaive, the fel burnt her hands but she used her magic to sooth her pain. She slashed Illidan's side and kept the point of the blade buried in her side.

"Purge." Kai said and Illidan's body fell backwards, his wings offering some "Khadgar, get me his soul!" Khadgar rushed to her side as Gul'dan dropped his protective shield.

"Keep him off me!" Kai said as she set the trap over where his heart should be and started to chant. "Elune give me the strength to pull a soul from the twisting nether and put his soul until a body!" Kai chanted watching as the fel started to glow bright green once again.

"Keyleth." His voice said in the softest whisper and Kai turned her attention to Gul'dan.

"Stay here, I have to kill this bastard Orc." Kai said letting her fingers brush against his as she picked up his glaives. The fel hurt her body but it was nothing compared to the joy of having Illidan back. She would not let this orc take Illidan from her again.

"Khadgar cover me!" Kai yelled slipping under the barrier before it shut again. Just her and Gul'dan trapped in a magic bubble.

Glaives were difficult to use but Kai got the hang of them once they seared to her flesh. She slashed into his skin with a smile plastered on her face. She finally got her vengeance, the man who tortured Illidan's body. With one final slice Gul'dan fell to the floor and the barriat dropped.

"Keyleth?" Khadgar asked and she tried dropping the glavies that we're still burning her skin. "Here here!" He pulled the glaives from her skin and her thorns touched the ground.

"Ah." Kai said collapsing to the ground feeling her hands healing back. She looked up to the sky and Khadgar chuckled.

"We finally rid ourselves of Gul'dan." Khadgar said with a smile and Kai heard Illidan's wings dragging upwards. Kai was in so much pain that not even the happiness could keep her awake.

Illidan's POV

Illidan looked around and he was in an unfamiliar area, he sat up and saw Kai laying on the floor and a older man smiling. "Where am I?" he asked aloud and the man turned to him.

"My name is Khadgar, Keyleth brought you back from the nether." Illidan got up and went to Kai's side.

"What did she do?" Illidan snapped holding her carefully in his arms so his fell tattoos didn't burn her.

"She brought you back from the dead and fought Gul'dan. The fel has an effect on her body, it hurts her, though not once she faltered in that fight."

"You pig headed Nature Spirit." Illidan snapped smoothing her hair. The once green vines in her hair we're brown thorns and Illidan noticed the flowers in her hair. They were from the Gove from all those years ago. He felt his pockets for the purple flower he had taken with him all those years ago.
