Elena was currently helping Lando clean up the house. The Quadrant team was coming over for the premiere of the latest video as well as to celebrate Lando's Monaco podium.
"Lando can you please get the door, Ria just texted me that she needs help with something in her car." What Elena didn't tell Lando was that she'd bought him a puppy, something he'd wanted for a while but was unable to get one due to his constant traveling. But now that Max would be moving in, he'd be able to take care of the dog while Lando was away.
"Ok, I got it!" The dark haired boy wandered outside to see Ria leaning next to the open door of her back seat and Max standing next to her chatting.
"What the hell mate, you know you could be nice and help Maria out with whatever she needs to get out of the car but no you'd rather stand here and chat." Lando was slightly grumpy as he'd been helping his girlfriend clean up the house for majority of the day. Due to his hectic routine he'd barely had time to clean up around the place, meaning it wasn't the cleanest and he refused to hire a cleaner as he knew that lots of people would like the chance to snoop a his personal things.
"Oh whatever just come and take this box out the back seat. Careful it's got precious cargo." The dark haired boy shook his head as Maria snickered at the interaction, secretly recording the whole thing.
As Lando reached down to pick up the box he heard a slight yipping and some scratching. He realized that there were holes cut into the box. Letting his curiosity get the better of him he picked up the box and quickly placed it on the ground next to Ria's car. Opening the box he was surprised to see a puppy looking up at him with icy blue eyes. Seeing the new person the energetic dog jumped up attempting to lick the face of its new owner. Said owner didn't hesitate to pick up the pup and cuddle him close, allowing the dog to familiarise itself with his scent.
"Babe! Come here real quick!" He was excited to show his girlfriend the new addition to their little dysfunctional family.
"Ah I see you found your present." The Spanish girl wasn't surprised to see her boyfriend already playing with the puppy without even asking if it was his to keep.
"Wait are you serious? He's mine?" "Yes you dummy who else would he be for? Jesus?" Max couldn't resist teasing his friend. "Although he likes dogs I'm pretty sure Antonio wouldn't like it if I randomly gave him a dog." Maria and Elena couldn't help but face palm at the conversation happening in front of them.
"Anyway Lando and Elle meet your new dog, he's a Siberian husky and golden retriever mix." The couple gasped at the new information about the dogs genetic background. They both knew there was some Siberian husky in him due to the eyes and the coat but they were still slightly surprised.
" Aren't they rare? " " Nah not really, more breeders are selling them now. But anyways what are you going to name him." The couple looked at each other for a while, quietly deliberating before Lando spoke up.
"This little guy's name is Ace. Because he's probably going to be the first of many pets." "Well then welcome home Ace." Said Ria as she reached down to pet the little fur ball.
