28. 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐞𝐦 & 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

4 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 2021

Elena glared at her boyfriend from across the room.

"Elle, glaring at me won't change the fact that I have to get to work."
Lando said with a sigh. He'd somehow convinced her to travel with him for the last five races of the year. Unfortunately for her it meant that he'd always be out of the hotel before breakfast. And with morning sickness settling in, she was not a happy camper in the morning.

"I know but do you really need to go this early?"
Lando shook his head. He knew that there was something deeper than what she was saying.

"Elena what's actually bothering you?"

The girl sighed.

"Promise me that you won't laugh at me?"

"I promise."

"I'm a little bit horny."
Elena whispered with a shy smile.

"I'm sorry can you say that, just a bit louder?"
Lando genuinely did not hear what she had said.

"Ugh fine! I'm horny OK!?"

"We didn't need to know that Elena."
Said George as he entered the room with Carmen and Jon behind him.
The couple ignored their friends as they had a stare down.

"Again!?"
Screeched Lando.
"Woman, was last night not enough for you!? I swear you're going to kill me."

"As if this is my fault! Who said that you must change in front of me? And I consider this to be fair since you kept me locked in the house on Halloween! Who does that!? It's a crime against humanity!"
By now Elena was standing on the bed shouting with Lando glaring up at her.

"Oh so that's why Max said you guys have ruined Halloween for him forever."

"Shut up George!"
Screamed the couple in unison. By now the other drivers that were on their floor had entered the room to watch another one of Lando and Elena's legendary fights. With the exception of the McLaren and Ferrari teams as well as the Williams boys, and Max of course, none of the other drivers knew that Elena was expecting.

"First of all Elena get down from there and I couldn't let you leave the house looking like that. I can't have other guys looking at my girlfriend, especially since you've started your tour workouts."
The Spanish singer dramatically gasped as tears welled in her eyes.

"So you think that guys will only like me now that I workout more!? Newsflash I -"
She couldn't finish her sentence before she felt bile rising up her throat. She hopped off of the bed as Carmen rushed to help her.
While she was hunched over the toilet Lando, Jon and George herded everyone else out of the room before shouting a quick goodbye.

"Are they gone?"
Asked Elena.

"Yeah why?"

With that the girl wiped her mouth with a towel and gave her friend a genuine bright smile.

"I can finally drop the act now."

"What!?"

"Basically I've been acting crazy to keep Lando on his toes. If I'm going to be constantly tired and sore from carrying this baby, who will most likely look like him, then I'd like to make things even. The baby drives me crazy, I drive him crazy. And I still have to push this baby out of me. "
Carmen laughed at her friend's logic.
