Elena sighed as she finally managed to get her daughter to fall back to sleep. The twins had fallen into a solid sleep routine but every time that Lando left it seemed to throw them off of it. Especially her daughter, who was proving to be a daddy's girl already.

The new mother of two sighed. It would be another week and some before she'd see her boyfriend again, she really didn't know how she was going to cope. As if he could sense her distress a certain curly haired British driver FaceTimed her.

"Hey babe"
Elena whispered as she settled into their bed.

"Hi my love. How's everything going that side? Do you need me to come back early?"
Elena rolled her eyes as he continued to ramble about how he had no qualms with flying home after the Singapore gp.

She could see that he missed being home due to the fact that most of the races before this were held in Europe and he'd usually fly out to the track on the Wednesday before media day. This allowed him to spend as much time as possible with the twins and to help Elena out as Cisca couldn't always drive to their place and help her out.

"Babe I'm fine. We're all fine. It's just Adeya trying to get used to not having her daddy around but she'll be fine. I mean Dylan's coping brilliantly."

"Because Dylan only cares about milk and Mickey mouse."
Lando snorted as he thought about how his son inherited an obsession from both of his parents. A milk obsession from his father and a Disney obsession from his mother.

"True but I do think that they both enjoy watching you race. Their eyes were glued to the screen during the last race."

"Well it was an impressive win so..."
And of course he cockily swiped some imaginary dust off of his shoulders.

"Yeah well they'll get to see three of your races live soon so we'll see then just how interesting they find it."
Elena giggled as she watched a body smile spread onto his lips.

The couple had decided that they would take their children with them to Texas as Elena's mom would be able to help her with the kids. And while Lando is away for the Mexican gp she'll be in Los Angeles with the kids, preparing some things with her record label. But she'd fly out the Tuesday after the gp to celebrate Lando's birthday early, enjoying a couple's trip in Cabo San Lucas. Then they'd fly back to L.A to pick up the kids and her mother before heading off to São Paulo. Their trip would end in Abu Dhabi where the rest of his family and their friends would join them.

"I know, I'm so excited. I've even got the special headsets designed for them to match my helmets for those races and we've set you guys up with fairly private spot in the garage for the Friday sessions and then you'll have your own space in the hospitality suite. "
Elena couldn't help but smile as she heard how Lando had pushed for her and the twins to have as much privacy as possible during some of the busiest and most public events in the year.

"Babe you really didn't have to do that, I would have been fine just watching it from the hospitality suite like we did at Silverstone."

The couple had avoided being seen with their children at his home grand prix by ensuring that Elena arrived after the sessions began, when there were less cameras in the paddock. They'd also provided her with a very private space in the McLaren hospitality suite, meaning that people only knew of her attendance after she appeared in the Unboxed video.
