067; i'm moving in with jack

"nic everyone is waiting for you." mollie said as she sat in the girls hotel room, looking at the group chat while nicole was quickly packing her suitcase, "usually you're the first out."

"i know i just- my mind is everywhere." nicole shook her head as mollie looked up at her confused, "can you go get my things from the bathroom?"

"yeah." she nodded, throwing her phone onto the chair and walking over to the bathroom, grabbing nicole's makeup back.

as mollie grabbed nicole's toiletries back, she glanced over to the trashcan and furrowed her brows, noticing a couple tests turned upside down with the box just underneath them.

the girl laughed to herself while handing nicole her two small bags, "now i know why your mind is everywhere, don't be bringing a baby in our place."

nicole paused as she went quiet, her mouth dropped open slightly before looking up at mollie, who was staring at her confused before glancing to the bathroom, "what?"

"i don't know the result." she shrugged, "one was negative and one was positive."

"okay then take another."

"i don't have another i'm just waiting until we get back to virginia." she explained, watching mollie slowly nod before sighing.

"anyway uh... i won't be bringing any babies into our place." nicole continued.

"good i can't stand the things." mollie frowned, "are you going to get an abortion if it's positive or something?"

"no i don't think i'd ever do that." nicole shook her head.

"you're just hoping it's-"

"i'm moving in with jack." she admitted, hearing mollie go silent as she stared at the girl on the opposite side of the bed to her.

"like down the street?"

"to la." nicole frowned.

"oh." mollie mumbled, "okay uh... why do- why?"

"they need to all be there from september so we're just gonna move in a few weeks." she explained as mollie stared at her in disbelief.

"corbyn hasn't said anything about that." mollie argued, "is that the actual reason or are you not wanting to say something?"

"what?"

"i don't understand why you suddenly want to move if we've only lived together a couple months." mollie shrugged as nicole shook her head, "you've got everything here you have your family and me and my family and-"

"i don't want to stay in virginia all my life this-"

"right but can't you wait a couple more years before you do that? i mean if you and jack don't last then you're just going to come crawling back here and i don't want to be some second option for you." mollie frowned as she scratched the back of her neck.

"mollie, me deciding to move was because of me and jack it wasn't anything you did." nicole shook her head, "stop rambling about it, i'm sure corbyn will offer for you to move in with him."

"i don't want to live in la."

"then i don't know what to suggest." nicole shrugged, watching mollie slowly nod before giving her a small yet forced smile.

"okay." she nodded, "how long has this been a thing?"

"almost a month..."

"almost a month." mollie raised her eyebrows before sighing, "cool, alright well good for you i'm happy for you."

"molls," nicole frowned, watching her open the door, "no you're not."

"i am, i know how much you love jack so this is a good thing for you both." mollie explained, "you two can have more time together and it'll all be fine."

"it's not-"

"i don't want to talk about it anymore." mollie shook her head, walking out of the hotel room and closing the door behind her.

"is she coming?" jonah asked, receiving a nod from the girl as she walked over to where corbyn was stood.

after another five minutes or so of waiting for nicole, the girl finally left her hotel room before the group made their way down to the lobby. they checked out, left and made their way to the airport with mollie clearly avoiding nicole.

and as they walked through the airport, made their way through all security and the gates, they were sat waiting to board their plane as mollie and corbyn sat beside each other, a frown on the girl's face whilst she stared out of the window.

but with another fifteen minutes or so before they were planned to board, mollie sighed as she placed her phone in corbyn's lap and walked over to the restrooms.

"she's in a terrible mood." corbyn mumbled, looking up at the ground as they all glanced to nicole.

"did you tell her?" jonah asked.

"yeah," nicole slowly nodded, "yeah i told her."

"told her what?" corbyn asked, "someone fill me in."

"about the moving to la thing." daniel told him as they all frowned.

"...what moving to la thing?" corbyn furrowed his eyebrows slowly as his four band mates turned to him.

"you were there, you know." zach nodded.

"i don't know," he shrugged, "we're moving to la?"

"we need to by late september." jonah said.

"since when?"

"a couple months ago." daniel said, "before your crash."

"i don't.. we never had that meeting." he laughed slightly, "is mollie moving with us all?"

"nic is the only girl going." jack told him, "as far as i know."

"oh." corbyn paused, "okay.."

"she said she was happy for me though," nicole shrugged, "it seemed kind of genuine but.."

"just let her process it." jack shrugged, "she'll come around."
