third person.

"do you want three hundred dollars for today?" mollie looked up at ashley from her phone, watching the girl grow confused as she turned to face her, "i just got sent it."

"by who..?"

"corbyn."

"corbyn sends you money for just going shopping?" she raised her eyebrows as mollie rolled her eyes.

"i don't ask him to he just does it." mollie argued, "he asked me if three hundred was enough."

"i would've told him to double it." ashley shrugged.

"i'd never be able to forgive myself if i did that," she shook her head, "but now he's going to expect me to buy something so i can give him a little haul when i get back."

"i can help you buy something," ashley said, "you need some more clothes."

"no i don't i-"

"you need more out there ones." she nodded and wrapped her arm around the girls shoulders, "and brighter colours, you need a bright dress."

"oh my god." mollie mumbled, "ashley i'd never wear it."

"sure you would." ashley smiled, "do you need brighter clothes?"

"you sound like corbyn," she said, "this is how corbyn acts when we go to the mall."

"except i'm the better besson so i make it more fun," she argued, guiding mollie into their first store of the day, "are you spending the money he willingly gave you or not?"

"i feel bad."

"but he's already sent it," ashley said, "it's in your bank account so.. you might as well."

"but it's his money." mollie frowned, watching the girl already search through the clothes displayed in the store, "are you seriously finding me a dress?"

"yep." ashley replied, "what are your favourite colours?"

"i like black." she shrugged.

"bright colours, mollie."

"i like blue," mollie told her, "white, maybe a bit of brown.. but i don't want to shop for just me."

"we can look for both of us," ashley looked at her, "are you in need of anything?"

"..not really." she shook her head, "only some pregnancy tests i think then-"

"shut up." ashley's mouth suddenly dropped open as mollie looked at her, "are you serious? it felt like you were being sarcastic."

"i'm joking." mollie said through a laugh, "i don't need any tests."

"ew now you've put a weird image in my head," she frowned, "mollie that's my brother."

"i didn't say anything." mollie said, "i can if you keep complaining."

"nope, please do not tell me about what you do with corbyn," ashley shook her head as she covered her ears, watching mollie laugh before she turned to one of the clothing racks she was beside.

"we stargaze." mollie smiled, picking out a hoodie from one of the racks as ashley slowly turned to look at her, her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes narrowed, "what?"

"we..?"

"mhm, we're still finding a spot in la but yeah."

"oh wow, he can be nice." ashley raised her eyebrows, "i like that hoodie by the way, it's a nice colour."

"it's bright orange," she frowned, hanging it back on the rack while following ashley around the store.

"one thing i've learnt about you in the years we have known each other," ashley began, "is that you're so fucking stubborn."

"i am not stubborn." she laughed slightly.

"once you have decided on something, no one can change your mind." she explained.

"well," mollie shrugged, "i don't know, my mind can be changed sometimes, but i've learnt that you're very sarcastic."

"so are you."

"maybe that's why we get on well," she said as ashley nodded, "but you are a bad influence."

"how?!"

"you're saying i should spend this money," mollie argued as her eyes widened.

"well it's there." ashley shrugged as she gestured to her bag, "if you didn't ask for it and he just sent it then.. use it?"

"i know it's there i'm saying i'll feel bad." mollie told her, "i refuse to spend more than a hundred."

"that's difficult unless you know what you want and the price of it," she looked at her brothers girlfriend.

"some jeans," she folded her arms and glanced around the store with her breathing picking up slightly, "a sweatshirt and a jacket would be nice."

"okay, we can hunt for that." ashley nodded as she stared at the girl stood in front of her for a few seconds, "do you need to sit down?"

"hm?"

"you've gone pale," she said with a frown, "you're just suddenly acting a bit off."

"it's just getting a bit overwhelming in here but it's fine," mollie shook her head as ashley quickly nodded, grabbing her hand as they walked to the exit of the store, "if you want to shop we can i'm fine for a few-"

"we'll find a quieter store," ashley replied, "nothing was interesting in there anyway. do you want to get a drink first before we do anything else?"

"we can do."

"i'm just suggesting in case you're dehydrated, that wont go well if you're anxious." ashley shrugged, "we can go get an iced coffee from dunkin or something and then continue our shopping, all good."

"are you sure you don't want to go in that store? i don't want you missing out." mollie frowned, pulling the sleeves of her hoodie over her hands as ashley nodded.

"i'm not bothered," she gave mollie a smile, "and if i was desperate i'd just look online."

"okay," mollie smiled slightly.

"i'd rather get it online than go back in store and cause you to maybe have a panic attack," ashley continued, "we'll be on the look for a quieter store and continue doing that, no worries at all."

"okay, sounds good."
