3rd person's POV
"She said that?" Eunbi asks in disbelief after hearing Chaewon's short recap of what happened between her and Minju.
Yes, she was expecting Minju to make some positive progress when Chaewon told her that she would finally try to face her again. Well, she had no choice but to do it actually. But what Eunbi wasn't expecting is how bold and fast Minju made her move.
It's not that she doesn't like the news but she was just genuinely shock.
'She really like Chaewon that much huh' she thought smirking.
"Yeah.. and what's with that face?" Chaewon answered, face contorted in confusion.
Eunbi just shrugs "Nothing. I'm just happy for you". Chaewon just grew more confused. "Why me? Shouldn't it be her?"
Eunbi facepalms internally. 'This dense idiot' She looks around first to see if there's someone else that could hear them before continuing. "Isn't that what you like?"
Chaewon shows a contained smile and Eunbi caught it. "Whipped" Eunbi teased. Chaewon just let out a small laugh.
She just got exposed and she knows that there's no point at denying it. She knows exactly how she felt for Minju. And she's not too dense to get that everybody knows that already. Even Yena thought they're doing something already.
"I'm happy with the steps she's taking... I hope I won't scare her off like before..." Chaewon frowns slightly, looking elsewhere. The thought of Minju running pass her and not showing for a day scares her. She didn't want that to happen again. She blames herself for Minju's runaway.
Her head snaps back to Eunbi as she felt a hand patting her shoulder. "Just show her how you really feel" she advised giving the younger an assuring smile.
Chaewon just smirks and cross her arms on her chest. "Tch. take your advice also.. show her how you feel"
Eunbi was taken aback but she understands what Chaewon was saying
"What?!" she said quite loudly. The cub just look behind her.
"What what?" someone asks. Eunbi knows that lone tone. Her face suddenly heats up, heart's pumping hard all of a sudden. Hyewon unbotheredly took the seat beside Chaewon, who's obviously smirking.
Eunbi and Hyewon share a stare leaving Chaewon no choice but slide out from the scene. She sigh before biding , "I'll go to the maknaes.. bye~~"
And that leaves Eunbi alone with Hyewon, who just keep staring at her. After a dreadful minute, Eunbi finally took her eyes off first earning a snicker from the other.
"I win" Hyewon muttered. Eunbi just roll her eyes. "As a prize.. can I have an extra potato for dinner?" she said smiling.
Eunbi silently chokes on air, almost fall for that beautiful smile but she remembered how Nako grew frustrated about their stock with the potatoes so they needed to ratio their consume.
"No.. you know that we're near to consuming all our crops and it's not yet harvest season" Eunbi said not taking her eyes off her 'go-to' bag that she was cleaning.
"Pfft.. so what prize can I get instead?"
Eunbi briefly look at Hyewon. She almost lose it when she the girl lips pouting slightly. She clears her throat then said "I'll just apologize for staring"
She heard Hyewon shuffles from her seat. Feeling like the girl is leaving her alone, she sigh.
But then heat gush up to her face as she felt a pair of lips shortly made contact with her cheeks. Her eyes grew wide as she face Hyewon. The latter just smiles at Eunbi's reaction.
