Dan’s POV
I slid off of the couch, standing slowly. My head was hurting from drinking last night, but I wasn’t terribly hungover. I took a pain pill and made some extra strong coffee. The aroma spread through the flat, awakening the others.
PJ was the first up. “Hey Dan! How’s your head? Ah, mine’s killing me.” He moaned, grabbing a cup of coffee.
“I’m alright. I guess I didn’t drink as much as I thought last night. Of course, it takes a good bit to get me drunk.” I commented.
We drank our coffee and waited for the others to get up. Haylee was the next one up and she promptly ran for the bathroom. I chuckled, feeling slightly bad for her. She was a bit of a lightweight when it came to drinking and last night had been her first experience with rum. I dashed to the bathroom and held her hair. She sat back finally, wiping her face. “Ugh, I feel horrid.” She whined.
She stood up and I pulled her into a hug. “I’m sorry, darling. I shouldn’t have let you drink so much! Come on, I made coffee. It’ll help you, alright?” Haylee nodded and took a mug of coffee. She drank it slowly and took a couple of stomach tablets to help settle her stomach.
“Ah, that feels better.” She smiled. “My hangover’s almost gone.” I smiled softly and nodded.
“Extra strong coffee works quicker.” I told her. Phil and Chris appeared moments later, both taking cups of coffee. Phil got started on breakfast while the rest of us hung out. “So, I have the idea for my video this week. Since Christmas is coming up, I’m going to do a special video on the dangers of the season.”
“Alright, what do you want us to do?” Chris asked.
“We’re going to simulate a Christmas dinner and Chris; you’re going to pretend to choke. It’s going to be a safety video.” We got started filming, and I decided to photoshop the food in later.
“It’d be hilarious if you slapped my butt at first!” Chris suggested. I thought about it for a second, and decided to do it. If nothing else, it would drive the fans crazy. Haylee was watching and helping film the entire time. Even she was trying not to laugh at that part. After we were done, PJ and Chris hung out a bit more before having to leave. It had been a great time.
