Haylee’s POV

I ran a hand through my hair, confused. “What are you doing in London?!” I asked frantically.

“Nathan and I got into a huge fight and we broke up and I still had this plane ticket from my birthday and I don’t know, I just thought of coming to London and seeing you.” She cried.

“Alright, it’s okay, I’ll be right there!” I told her. I punched Dan lightly and he woke up suddenly.

“What’s going on, Hays?” He asked.

“Who’s that?” Chassidy asked.  I smacked Dan lightly, and turned back to my phone.

“Oh, you’ll see when you get here.” I chuckled. Dan and I frantically ran around the room getting ready while I explained what was going on.

“Oh, shoot, these are your jeans!” Dan moaned as he slipped them off. He tossed them to me.

“Here, then, these are yours!” I replied, tossing a pair back to me. We tossed shirts back and forth and finally he put on his black jumper and his cat shirt. I was wearing his galaxy jumper. We both crowded into the bathroom to fix our hair. Mine was similar to Dan’s that it was naturally curly. I usually straightened it, but I sometimes let it go. Dan plugged in his straightener and cursed at it to heat faster. Finally he gave up and tossed it onto the counter. “What’s got you in a mood?” I questioned.

“I’m not; this stupid thing is getting to the point where it won’t work!” He complained.

“Here, just use mine.” I told him, handing him the straightener.

“But it’s…pink…” he moaned. I rolled my eyes and forced him to kneel down. I straightened his hair quickly and then did mine. “Wow, you’re good at that!”

“Yeah, it’s kind of a specialty of mine. I’ve been doing it since I could walk pretty much.” I chuckled. We finished getting ready and Dan woke Phil up. Once he was ready, I called Chassidy to let her know we were on our way.

We pulled up to the airport and Dan parked the car. I hopped out and ran inside to find Chassidy. I heard a squeal and ran to give her a hug. “Hey! It’s so good to see you!” I cried.

“Oh, it’s good to see you too! What have you been up to?” She asked. Dan walked up behind me with Phil behind him. Chassidy’s eyes went wide as she recognized the guys. I’d talked about them nonstop before I’d left for London, so it was no surprise. “Whoa…”

“Uh, Chassidy, this is my boyfriend Dan Howell. You might know him as Danisnotonfire on YouTube…” I explained. “And this is Phil Lester, our best friend and flatmate. He’s AmazingPhil on YouTube.”

“Yeah, I know who they are, oh my gosh! Hi, it’s really good to meet you!” She squealed, still fangirling. Dan gave her a small hug and I thought she might pass out. Phil stepped towards her and she looked like she was certainly going to faint. He pulled her in for a tiny hug and she settled into his embrace. We gathered up her bags and headed back to the car. When we got to the flat, Dan and Phil carried in Chassidy’s bags while she and I talked.

“So, what happened?” I asked, sitting down on the couch in the lounge. Chassidy sat across from me, stretched out on the loveseat.

“Well, Nate and I had been having some troubles for a while. He’d been talking with his ex and I wasn’t too fond of that. We got into a lot of fights about it and then last night, I came home to find them making out on the couch. I grabbed my stuff and left. I texted Nathan on the plane and told him we were done. That was it; we were over and now I’m here.” She sighed.

“Oh, Chass, I’m so sorry. Come here.” I got up and hugged her. “How long are you staying?”

      “Well…” she began.

“You want to move in, don’t you?” I asked. She nodded sheepishly.

“I mean, only if it’s okay. I don’t want to impose or anything.” She gasped.

I chuckled. “I’m sure it’s fine; we just need to talk to the boys about it. Dan? Phil? Can you guys come here for a minute?” I called. Dan and Phil appeared in a flash, out of breath from moving things.

      “What’s up, Hays?” Dan asked.

“Listen, Chassidy and her boyfriend broke up and she pretty much has nowhere to go. I was wondering if…” Phil cut me off.

“Say no more! She can move in! We’ll figure out rooming later.” Dan and I just stared at him wide eyed. Phil wasn’t usually this quick to decide something like this. He liked to decide on the best option and weigh the outcome of the decision. Of course, I could see it. He liked her. Chassidy smiled and ran to hug Phil. They were so cute and I hoped that sooner or later, they realized how perfect for each other they were.

“Okay, then! It’s decided! Welcome to the AmazingYoYoIsnotonfire flat!” Dan greeted. Chassidy and I giggled and Dan wrapped his arms around me. “How about we all go out to eat to celebrate? There’s a really cool sushi restaurant not too far from here.”

We all agreed and headed to the restaurant. I’d never eaten sushi before. “It’s not that bad.” Phil encouraged.

“Hey Haylee!” Dan called, trying to get me to look over at him.

“Wha-?” He cut me off by shoving a piece of sushi into my mouth. I glared at him and made a face. Somehow, I managed to choke down the raw fish. “I’ll get you back for that, Daniel!” I vowed. He just laughed and ate another piece. We finished our meal and headed back to our flat. Finally, we worked it out so that I would sleep with Dan in his room tonight and Chassidy would sleep in my room. Soon, we’d move another bed into my room and Chassidy and I would share the room.

Phil and Chassidy stayed up for hours talking while Dan and I just lay in his room, neither of talking. We just lay in each other’s arms, our heads pressed together. Music played softly, making everything seem that much more perfect.
