Chapter Twenty-one

Stefania had busy morning in work, she was mid rehearsal when he phone started to blow up. She paused her class, telling them to practice all together whilst she answered her phone.
She picked it up and noticed five missed called from Jaina. She called her back and Jaina instantly picked up
"Stefania" she said panicked.
"Hey Bella, are you okay?"
"No Stef, I'm really not. I'm stressed, I'm worried Stefania. Can you come to Colby's please?" She begged.
"Uh yeah, I can come over in about half hour. Is everything okay? Do you need anything" Stefania asked concerned. Jaina was never stressed, even if she was she didn't show her fear.
"I think I'm pregnant Stefania, I'm scared"
"I can grab some tests on my way?" She offered.
"Please Stefania, I'm really worried"
"Okay okay, I'll be there in about forty five minutes okay? Calm down, don't worry, I will be there soon. It will be okay bella". Stefania tried to calm her best friend down but knowing the situation, I doubt that would be possible. "I will be there soon okay Jaina, you are not alone okay".

Stefania finished her rehearsal making her way to the store grabbing a box of pregnancy tests before heading to Colby's apartment. She rang the bell, instantly the door opened. She hurried her way up to Colby's apartment knocking on the door.

"Hey, so tell me what's going on"
Stefania sat on the bar stool whilst Jaina paced around in front of her. "Jaina" the Italian chuckled "you're making me dizzy, sit down and tell me what's happened" Stefania took her arm guiding her to the stool next to her.
"I'm late" Jaina blurted.
"Okay, how late? Are well talking weeks or months?"
"Four weeks late"
"Okay, is it Colby's?" Stefania asked warily.
"Of course it is!" Jaina shouted
"Okay okay, I'm just trying to figure this out" she held her best friends arm giving her a reassuring look. "I bought a box of tests okay, do them all and then we will go from there". Stefania handed Jaina the box before gently pushing her towards the bathroom.
Whilst Jaina was in the bathroom, Stefania decided to make them some tea and arranged the balcony so it was comfy for them both. She waited on the lounger until Jaina appeared holding the test.

"Now it says we wait five minutes" Jaina said nervously.
"Okay, take a seat, I've made you some tea. You just need to relax okay?"

"Whatever the results are, you cannot tell Danielle okay? She can't find out before Colby" Jaina begged before falling face first into Stefania, her head laying in her lap. Stefania gently played with her best friends hair, running her fingers through.
"Okay" Stefania sighed "I won't tell her".
"Thank you" Jaina whispered before closing her eyes.

They waited five minutes, Jaina's alarm went off signalling it was time. She nervously got up of Stefania's lap reaching over to the tests resting on the table.

"Okay so one line is not and two lines is" Stefania reminded them.
"Holy fuck" Jaina panicked and dropped the first one. She read the other two and instantly shot up and started pacing the balcony.
"What am I going to do? What the fuck do I do Stef?" Jaina asked panicked.
"First of all you need to breath okay" she held onto Jaina's arm making her face her. "Do you want to keep it? You don't have to decide right now and whatever you chose to do I will 100% back you up" Stefania reassured her before Jaina fell into her, tears bursting out of her eyes and down her cheeks. Stefania pulled her in, her arm around her shoulder, her head resting on her neck. "Shhh okay, it will be okay" she soothed.

Jaina phone started to ring making them both jump. Jaina looked who it was, "Colby" she whispered "I can't answer him, he's going to know something is wrong".
Stefania took the phone off her giving her a smile before answering it for her.
"Hey Colby it's Stef, Jaina's just in the shower"
"Oh hey Stefania, are you at my place?"
"Uh yeah I am"
"Oh that's cool, have you locked the door because I can't get in. I'm stood outside the door"
"Oh sorry, I didn't think I did. Hang on and I'll let you in".
