Chapter Forty-Five

Danielle woke up, her head was foggy, the room was spinning slightly. She rolled over swinging her arms out to reach Stefania but she wasn't there. She let out a little groan. The blonde sat up slightly and spotted a bottle of water with two pills next to it. She quickly swallowed them back hoping they would make her feel better.

After contemplating whether or not to get out of bed, she finally decided to and headed straight to the bathroom for a shower.

The hot water, the steam filling the room made her feel so much better. After brushing her teeth and throwing a hoodie and a pair of shorts on she made her way downstairs.

"Stef?" She called out "Bambi?" She sung.

She searched the entire house before going out the back, she stopped when she spotted Stefania laying in a hammock swaying in the wind reading a book. She looked so beautiful, naturally beautiful. Without her noticing Danielle snapped a few pictures of her.

"You're awake?" Stefania smiled. "How are you feeling?"

Danielle made her way over sitting in the chair next to her, "I had a shower, and took the meds you left for me"

"You can join me?" Stefania suggested.

"Baby if I go in that I'll get sea sick and probably throw up on you" the blonde laughed slightly.

"Okay but help me out?" Stefania laughed.

Danielle picked her up out of the hammock, and gave her a gentle kiss,

"Breakfast?" Stefania asked.

"Sure but I don't know if I'll eat it all"

Stefania prepared them a light breakfast whilst Danielle laid on the couch until it was ready.

Once it was ready they both tucked in, Danielle taking it very slowly in case it came back up.

"We had sex last night" Danielle blurted out.

Stefania laughed "We did, we did. That's normal for us?" She half questioned

"Yes but you said we weren't going to have sex but we did and by god it was amazing"

"It was it was" Stefania nodded in agreement "What do you want to do today?"

Danielle gave her a known look, a little smirk on her face

"I know what you're thinking and we can't in that middle of the day" Stefania warned

Danielle rolled her eyes, "Fine, but we can tonight? Sex under the stars, how romantic"

"Maybe, we'll see" the brunette laughed "How about we spend the day shopping? I have to get Jaina and Barrett a bottle of wine, one you can only get here and I'm sure Colby would like some form of alcohol?" Stefania laughed "Oh and the bambino, we need to get the bambino something"

"Write a list baby" Danielle laughed.

The couple finally got ready after eating breakfast and finding Stefania's shoes before heading out to the car.

They drove dove narrow cobbled streets until finally parking the car up.

"Come bambina" Stefania smiled holding her hand out for the American.

With their fingers interlocked they headed towards a few shops, Stefania explained all the different things to her, it was like another world.

They headed into what looked like a wine shop, not the one the went on on their first day there though.

After hours of wandering around, buying different gifts for everyone and grabbing a few things for themselves they headed over to Stefania's parents house for a final few hours with them. Her mother was making them some food, save them having to cook before their flight in the early hours of the next day.
