Chapter Thirty-Five

The couple grabbed a pizza on the way home, neither of them had the energy to cook. Stefania had fallen asleep in the car ride home after impatiently eating her half of the pizza.

Once they arrived back at the house Danielle carefully picked the sleeping Italian up and carried her into the house and up the stairs laying her gently down on the bed.

She slowly and quietly started to undress the brunette and changing her into something more comfortable. "Danielle?" Stefania groaned.

"I'm here baby" Danielle cooed.

"Cuddle me" she moaned snd pulled the blonde on top of her. Refusing to let go.

"I will be back in ten minutes okay babe and then I promise I will cuddle you all night long" Danielle managed to get out of the brunette's grip and gave her a quick kiss before leaving the room.

She quickly ran downstairs and ate some of her pizza, she was absolutely starving having not eaten since before they got on the plane that morning.

She walked into the bathroom brushing her teeth and changing into her shorts and tank top.

After locking up the house and turning all the lights off the American crawled into bed next to her sleepy girlfriend. She wrapped her arms around her waist and tucked her head in the brunette's neck. "No" the Italian groaned moving her hands away.

"What?" Danielle laughed.

"You can't cuddle me" Stefania whined in her childish voice.

"You wanted cuddles a few minutes ago" Danielle whined back mimicking her childish voice.

"Yes but then you left and didn't give me any, now you don't get any" Stefania pouted.

"Stef really?" Danielle questioned given her a slight bit of attitude.

"Yes, you didn't want to love me then, you don't get to love me now" the stubborn brunette pouted.

"Okay fine fine" the blonde sighed and rolled over facing the other way.

"Where are you going now?" The Italian groaned.

"You said you didn't want a cuddle!" Danielle argued back.

"Well you're not supposed to listen to me!"

"Oh my god woman" Danielle sighed

"Don't woman me!" Stefania snapped.

"Okay fine, I'm going to go and eat pizza" Danielle rolled her eyes and pushed the covered off.

"No! Now I'm cold, so cuddle me!" Stefania shouted back at her.

"Oh my god Stef okay" the blonde let out a deep breath and rolled over wrapping her arms around the hormonal woman laying next to her.

"Why are you being like this?" Danielle whispered.

"Because" Stefania breathed out deeply.

"Because what?" Danielle questioned.

"Because I'm fucking pregnant and hormonal!" Stefania shouted.

"Okay okay fine, go to sleep" Danielle sighed and kissed the brunette's neck.

No matter how much they argued they still never went to bed seriously angry, Danielle always tried to kiss Stefania even if she protested.

They finally drifted off to sleep after half an hour of Stefania moaning at the blonde.

Two hours later the brunette woke the blonde up after going to pee for the third time that hour.

"Baby where are you going now?" Danielle groaned as the bathroom light shone in her eyes.

"I have to pee!" Stefania shouted.

"You just peed though!" The blonde moaned as she hid her head in the pillow.

Stefania washed her hands and made her way back into bed "yes but your son is pushing on my bladder" Stefania sighed and pulled the covers back over her body.

They finally managed to go back to sleep for a few hours until Stefania woke Danielle up again but this time she was groaning and moaning. "Stef, what's going on?" Danielle asked still half asleep.

"He keeps kicking me, I can't sleep!" The brunette mumbled on the verge of tears "And you shouted at me"

"Okay okay, hey. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shout at you, I'm just tired." Danielle sat up a bit and held onto the brunette's cheek. She leant down and kissed her girlfriends lips softly "I love you okay, I just want to sleep but I won't do that until I know that you're asleep".

She pulled away and moved down to her pregnant belly, "Hey little guy, we love that you're so confident and happy but it's 3am and your mamma's would very much like to sleep for a bit longer. We can't wait to meet you either bambino but please will you go to sleep?" Danielle kissed the brunette's belly. She moved her way back up to find her girlfriend crying, tears running down her face.

"Bambi" Danielle sighed "What's going on? Why are you so grumpy?" The blonde wiped away the tears that fell down her face.

"Nothing, I'm fine" the brunette lied and hid her face in Danielle chest.

"I know you're not fine baby, tell me" the blonde begged.

Stefania started sniffling "I just missed you"

"You've been with me all day, I haven't left your side"

"You left me and went downstairs" Stefania pouted.

"Baby I had to lock to house up, I didn't want you getting kidnapped in the middle of the night" Danielle laughed slightly.

"They wouldn't kidnap me, I'm pregnant, they'd kidnap you" Stefania said very seriously.

"Oh well thanks for that beautiful" Danielle laughed kissing her girlfriend. "Are you just being moody for the sake of being moody?" Danielle questioned raising her eyebrow.

"No" the brunette instantly pouted.

"Yes you are" Danielle laughed and started ticking the brunette.

"Bambina don't ill pee" Stefania laughed trying to hold the blondes hands still.

"Okay okay, has he calmed down now?" The blonde laughed gesturing to her stomach.

"Well he did until you woke him up by ticking me!" Stefania raised her voice slightly.

"Sorry my loves. But go to sleep bambi, we have a busy day tomorrow" Danielle kissed the brunette again and pulled her onto her chest.

Stefania groaned "We do? I just wanted to sleep" she sighed breathing on to Danielle neck.

"Well we have to go to the hospital in the morning, then I have to build the baby's bedroom furniture because I still haven't done that and then we need to pack for Italy"

"I get to watch you get all hot and sweaty building things?" Stefania asked as her eyes widened.

Danielle let out a cute little laugh "Only if you go to sleep" she teased.

"Okay, I love you"

"I love you too"
