Cycle carries me
Tired aches
As wheels spin
Spindle of the past
Unveils the era
Lost within
Rain pattered pavement
Evaporation of droplets
Though my tears
Never suppressed
This future to come
Shards litter path
Homeland in distance
I see her smile
Their laughs
We dance
We thrive
We're pride
Once roamed grounds
Deemed now sacred
Will moved henceforth
Wishing to rest finally
Peacefully
Where we all began
Days revival
Visible for upcoming
Cap accompanies gown
Embrace odds
Revisit remaining
Conquer beaten path
Shards cut
Dodger this pain
Await reflection
For the recollections
We once all shared.
