**Italics are lyrics from Lament from Evita!**
"I love you so much..." She whispered in my ear as I held her whilst we cuddled on her bed. We lay under red LED lights, like that of what I wished could be the stars aligned above us. Her family was not home and didn't really know about us, nor our status.
I breathed her in, holding her as she seemed to drift off to sleep.
I would never let go.
I just hoped she wouldn't block me out again.
I was half asleep but remained awake, alongside with my thoughts. That can be a scary thing, especially for me. Luckily she was the only thing on my mind, and I was well out of harm and numerous other issues. She breathed steadily and I continued to hold her tightly. I was surprised this day even came, after.
Or well, these days amid such thread.
I had loved her since the day I met her, suppressed my guilt above all else, as she did me, and more occurred, so on, so forth; ah, henceforth, we lie.
I adored every feature existent of her, cherishing her as our story continued. She stirred and murmured something, but I couldn't quite catch it.
"What was that, dear?" My raspy whisper inquired.
"Mhm.. you know I do..."
"Huh?"
"Always and forever?"
I raised an eyebrow, "Forever and always?"
She smiled in her dreamy state, "Yes."
I kissed her forehead as she buried herself in my chest, taking more of the blankets; I could've cared less, and I wouldn't have traded it for this world and the next.
This was my destiny.
I just knew it.
After a few more moments of stirring, she inched her way up to my face and kissed me, now that she was waking up.
"You sleep well baby?" I asked warmly.
"As always, beside you, heh."
"I figured. You talked in your sleep, by the way."
She immediately sat up, straddling me, "What did I say?!" I explained to her the words, and she blushed in embarrassment, "Oh god," she chuckled.
"Pft, what?"
"That's embarrassing for me..."
"What? Why? It was adorable!"
She playfully rolled her eyes, "Must I explain?" she asked smoothly. I nodded, "You'd better girl."
She sighed, taking a breath, "I had a dream, but it seemed more like a vision and... we were getting married and I said that, then you said it back and we were wed." I wrapped my arms around her waist, tears coming to my eyes, "I don't know what to say. That was.. beautiful."
She blushed, "I still can't believe I said that out loud!"
"Eh, I loved it, it's okay."
"Hey, guess what I love?"
"Hm?"
"Guess!"
"Uhh... the idea of running away and going on adventures? I don't know?"
"No! Though that would be nice to get away..."
"Shit, no clue then," I told her.
"Dammit, I love you!" she hollered, hugging me tightly. Suddenly, I had an idea.
