Storm on the radar
Her signs evident
For she exists on
Across town
Sunsets we share
Unknowing of ongoing
Lifetime
Delve into storm
As she pours on me
Rain droplets
Conquer tears
Her tide washes me
Away
Pulling me in
Category two
Within impact of
The fives
Heart stuck
Star struck
Eye of the storm
Evolves her disaster
Stare into her eyes
Witness a demise
Smile upon
Such surprise
Drags me in
Pulls me under
A wonder
The reprise
Droplet tears
Turn to this fire
She singes my skin
As I will burn her
Embrace amongst
Odds buried within
In the eye
Of the
Hurricane.
Fun fact! I wanted to call this "Her-icane," but I preferred the idea of the actual storm instead, considering the connection to the person.
