It's been two days since the guys and Ash came over.

The first day I spent still exploring. There is so much to see in this city.

Yesterday I actually spent the day inside. I didn't do much except watch Netflix. It was my first day to just relax since I moved to California.

Desiree even taught me how to make Chicken Cacciatore. It's basically fried chicken with a red sauce. It was delicious.

Then after we ate I got a call from the agency, which leads me today. My first shoot.

When they called I was stunned, I didn't think I would get a booking this fast. Anna Cartwright my agent said they really wanted me as one of the models for the campaign.

I learned that it's for a perfume ad.

Desiree told me that her first shoot was for some make up company. She said the first time you see yourself on a billboard it feels surreal. As if it isn't you up there.

She also tells me not to worry about my hair and make up because they will do it once I get there. So I decide to leave my hair down and natural, I also don't put on any make up.

I decide on a pair of black jeans and a white shirt to wear.

As I head out to the living room Desiree wishes me luck telling me to have fun.

The shoot is a good distance that I have to uber.

Desiree offered to let me use her car whenever I have to travel further. I really need to get a license.

I check in and a woman leads me to the back handing me a silk robe.

"Change into this and then wait in that chair, someone will come to do your make up and hair." She says seeming rushed.

I thank her and go into the changing rooms to change.

Waiting in the chair an older man comes over to me followed by a younger woman.

"I am Lory and I'll be doing your makeup." He says and I can hear he has a thick accent. Maybe Russian.

"And this is Mila she'll be doing your hair." I nod and they get to work.

I watch in the mirror as Mila curls and hair sprays my hair. That's going to be so much work to wash out.

"Look up." Lory says and I do. He applies some mascara to my bottom lashes as well as eyeliner to the waterline.

When they finish I look at myself in the mirror. I feel so out of my element. I have never had this much make up on before. The smokey eye and bold red lip look so foreign on me.

"You know if it were up to me I would've chosen something simpler. You have that natural beauty." Lory says and I blush.

I don't think you can see it past the makeup though.

Another woman comes over handing me a bag and shoes. "Go put these on." She says and I head back to the changing room.

I take off the robe and unzip the bag. A gorgeous champagne colored dress sits inside.

Take it out I slip the spaghetti straps over my shoulders before zipping it up. It wraps in the middle and has a slit down the left side. The dress is floor length and looks like it costs a bajillion bucks.

The heels are more of a darker gold. I slip those on before leaving the changing room.

Lory puts on my accessories before I head out to start the photoshoot.
