15-The Golden Trio

My phone alarm goes off and I know I have to get up. 

It goes off again and I groan hitting the dismiss button, then I throw the covers off of me. 

Today I have a meeting at the agency. Actually more importantly Dez, Ash, and I have a meeting. None of us know what for. 

Desiree and I have been freaking out since we got the call yesterday. Why would they want to meet with the three of us specifically?

We are probably getting fired.

Ashlynn thinks we are over reacting. She whole heartedly believes they wouldn't fire us. 

Like ever. 

The good news is it's early this morning so I can still meet River later for driving practice.

"Ava hurry up Ash is coming to pick us up in five minutes." I look over at my clock. 

How many times did I hit snooze?

I throw on a black spaghetti strap body con dress that ends mid thighs. Then I quickly lace up my black doc Martens. 

I go to leave the room but then remember that the building is cold so I grab the first thing I find laying out on my bed. 

Then I quickly run into the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. 

"Ash is here." Dez calls out and I quickly grab my bag before meeting her at the front door. 

Desiree looks be up and down, "Girl you look like you just rolled out of bed."

"I did." I say as we make our way down stairs. 

We get into Ash's car. Dez sits in the passenger seat and I sit down in the back seat. 

Ashlynn turns to look at me. Then she grabs her purse and tosses it to me, "I have some makeup in there." Thank the heavens. 

I rifle through her bag as she starts the car and heads onto the road. 

I just put on some mascara and blush. Before using her mini mirror to fix my hair a bit. 

She pulls up outside the building and the three of us get out. 

Just as we enter Ash says from in front of me, "You know River has a flannel exactly like that."

I look down and sure enough it's his flannel. When we went out last night I forgot to give it back. I had placed it on the end of my bed, planning on returning it today when we meet up for driving lessons. 

Desiree snickers from beside me and I narrow my eyes at her, "I was cold last night and he lent it to me. I am returning it tonight." I say and Ash just hums. 

"Can I help you?" The woman at the front desk asks. 

Ash nods, "We are here to see Ana." She types something on her computer before looking back up, "Board room three."

We enter the room and all take seats beside each other. 

"Stop with the leg bouncing." Ash says placing her hand on Dez's knee. 

"We are getting fired, I just know it." She says and Ash rolls her eyes.

The door opens and Ana walks in, "Hello girls." She says and I see someone follow behind her. 

HIs familiar face makes me smile, "Hi Lory." I say and the old man looks over to me, "Hi Ava, it's good to see you."

The two of them sit directly across from us.
