19-Goodbye

River's Pov

I am currently headed to Andi's Pizza to meet up with everyone, minus Ava. 

Dez said she hasn't gotten out of bed in almost a week. 

Everyone tried to get a hold of her until Ash reminded us she still had her phone. 

Then she demanded we meet up and talk about how we were going to get Ava out of this slump. 

I guess between her and Dez neither of them could convince her to do anything. Dez has been bringing her food to make sure she eats. 

The nerve that guy had to cheat on Ava. 

And when she started to blame herself I almost lost it. 

Pulling up in the parking lot I get out and head inside. 

Cole and Spencer are still in Alabama so it's just me, Kai, Dez, and Ash. 

"Finally." Ash says as I sit down. 

"So we need to figure out something, that girl won't even move a muscle. I don't even think she's showered." Dez says, cringing. 

Ash holds up Ava's phone, "That asshole has nonstop called and texted her. I say we give him a piece of our mind."

Dez shakes her head, "We shouldn't."

"Why not?" Ash asks quirking an eyebrow, "He doesn't deserve her forgiveness. Nor does he deserve to be heard out."

She has a point.

Even if she tells him off, Ava will still tell him she forgives him. It's who she is and one of the many reasons I couldn't imagine letting her go. Choosing someone else. 

"I say go for it." Kai comments and I know he just wants to hear her yell at someone who isn't him. 

With the go ahead she turns on Ava's phone. The moment it comes on Austin calls. 

She answers and puts it on speaker phone. 

"Ava?" He asks and Ash smirks, "She's not taking calls from shrimp dick losers right now, can I take a message?"

He doesn't even seem fazed as he says, "Where is she? Can I talk to her?"

"Is that the message you would like me to give her?" Ash asks raising an eyebrow. 

"Can you tell her that I made a mistake and that I'm sorry." He says and I grind my molars together. 

Nothing compares to the look Ash has on her face right now. 

"So you mistakenly stuck your dick in another woman? You know my biggest pet peeve are hypocrites. You were all over her about seeing other guys which she wasn't by the way while you were off playing plug the hole. Idiots like you disgust me, you think because you whine and say your sorry that we're supposed to forgive you-

-You hurt someone I care and I don't take to that lightly. She was nothing but good and patient with your pathetic clingy ass. The only good thing to come from this is now she can find someone more deserving of her. Goodbye." She says before hanging up. 

We all stare at her in shock. 

"What?" She asks placing the phone back in her bag.

Kai smiles, "I knew you had a soft side."

Ash frowns, "No I don't."

"Yeah you do." Dez says and her frown deepens, "Tell Ava about this conversation and I'll visit all of you in your sleep."
