39-I Won Sucka

Today we are celebrating some big news. 

Ash texted the group chat to let us know her official move in day. 

I am glad she found a new apartment, I know she's relieved. 

We all sit in Andi's pizza like normal. 

That is until someone calls out Dez's name. 

"Jude." Desiree says looking at the super duper tall man standing beside the table. 

His arm is lightly draped over a petite girls shoulders as he stares at Dez. 

Something in his eyes tells me he's still got the hots for my bestie.

"I saw the magazine spread you did." He says and she nods, "I am sure a good amount of people saw it."

"Oh you're the model girl." The red headed girl says.

She nods, "Sure."

"Well we have to go, see you around flower." And with that him and the girl disappear out of the restaurant. 

"Flower?" Ash asks and Dez shrugs, "No clue."

Her eyes tell a different story.

After we eat dinner we all head back to Dez and I's apartment. 

There Kai breaks out Chutes and Ladders. 

"I haven't seen that game since I was seven." Ash says as he begins to set up the game on the coffee table. 

Everyone takes their seats as Kai begins to explain the rules because turns out Cole has never played. 

Somehow it becomes a game between Ash and Kai. 

Those two are too competitive especially for a game rated ages three and up. 

"Shit." Ash curses when she's forced to go backward. 

Kai laughs and next thing I know he's winning. 

"HA!" He shouts standing from where he was sitting, "I won sucka!" He points to Ash who rolls her eyes. 

"Now gimme what was promised."

"What was promised?" I ask and Ash grimaces, "While you were in the bathroom we made a bet. If I won he'd pay for a book series I want and if he won...." She groans, "I have to kiss him, on the lips."

"With tongue. Don't forget the tongue Ashlynn." Kai says a little to excitedly. 

She stands and walks over to him. 

"You better save this kiss to memory Cho, it's the last one you'll ever get from me."

He wiggles his brows, "Once you get a taste of these lushes lips you can never go back to anything else."

Ash snorts, "I am sure I'll be fine, it wouldn't be the first time remember?"

Sometimes I forget they hooked up before. 

Then it happens. 

Ash leans in and presses her lips to Kai's, then she slips her tongue past his lips. 

Cole and Spencer whistle while Dez just rolls her eyes. 

"Get a room." She shouts when Kai deepens the kiss even more. 

Ash wrenches her lips off of his. 

"There." she mutters before plopping down on the couch. 

"There? I need more Ash." Kai grumbles and Ash laughs, "I am sure you can find a girl who wants...more."

He rolls his eyes playfully before packing back up the game. 

"Where did you even get that game from anyway?" Spencer asks and Kai shrugs, "I found it in the lost and found at the yoga studio."

"You're doing yoga?" Dez asks and he nods, "Yep, I even teach it."

I turn my head to look at River, "Did you know?"

He shakes his head. 

From the corner of my eye I see Ash running her finger over her lips, her eyes on Kai. 

He doesn't notice though because he's too busy trying to get the lid of the box back on. 

I end up leaving with River, I'm spending the night at his place again.
