Author's pov
After the final party it's already dinner time but not a single member of Petyr's family could even look at food, infact I wouldn't be suprised if they threw up if they did so instead they sat around a table playing family bored games until, Loki and Carol decided it was time for Petyr to go take a shower, which he did and once he was done, Carol met him at the bathroom door, informing him that he had to go say goodnight to Hela and Thor as he probably wouldn't see them again tonight.

When Petyr tilted his head in confusion at this as his bedtime wasn't for another hour and a half, Carol simply raised her eyebrow at him and motioned towards the dinning room. So he obeyed.

Petyr's pov
"Night!"

"Is it not a little early for you to head to bed?" uncle Thor asks and I shrug.

"I think so too but Mom told me to go say goodnight, so-"

"I see," Auntie Hela states with a hint of understanding in her eyes, "Well, you dream sweet dreams and have a wonderful rest, Child."

"Thanks!"

Smiling I give them both a goodnight hug and run towards my room where to my shock and perhaps also terror, both Mom and Dad are sitting on the sofa, deep in conversation.

"Uhm?"

Two heads turn towards me and then motion towards the chair that is directly across from the one they are sitting on, so I close the door, head there and tilt my head in confusion whilst I sit down.

"Ok, Petyr, here's the deal it was not four days ago that your Mom and I both punished you for breaking a grounding, running off to go play around the globe, disobeying direct orders and skipping school," Dad says in his strict voice.

"You're prior punishments are not even done yet, Pete," Mom scolds and I feel extremely small compared to the two of them.

"We realize your heart was in the right place, you wanted to protect your family and that's fine but, Petyr you disobeyed direct orders to do so," Dad says and I can't help but to stare at the ground.

"Not to mention there was nothing you could do to save them, so in turn you just placed yourself in unnecessary danger," Mom reprimands.

"But how can I be a hero if I can't even protect my own family?"

Both my parents seem to finally understand based on the looks they suddenly wear.

"Kiddo, look at me," Mom says and I obey. "You don't need to protect us, the whole reason I found you being a hero so sweet is because you can learn valuable lessons and make life long friends whilst protecting those who are weaker than you."

"I agree, a hero is a great title, Little one but you seem to have misunderstood the full terms of being one. Heroes protect those who can't protect themselves, they respect those who fight along side them and lean on those who are stronger than them."

"Sweety, you can't try and protect us, protecting you is our job as we're your parents, that's why we have all these rules you probably hate, because just as you protect those weaker than you so do we, when we protect you," Mom explains.

"But don't worry, one day, Little one you will be an extremely powerful hero, one who would stop at nothing to protect, but for now, you're a barn, you're simply starting with your training, I know patience is annoying but you have to wait until you master your powers before jumping in and trying to fight everyone left, right and center, start small, we'll be there if you need help, ok?" Dad asks and I smile.

"Ok..."

"Good, now we're not going to extend your grounding, it's obvious grounding you doesn't really do anything," Mom explains and I blush.
