Peter's pov
"Ok, so questions?" Colonel Rhodes asks and a bunch of kids raise their hands."You," Sergeant Wilson says and points to some kid who's name I don't know.
"Hello, Sergeant. May I ask, how does it feel to be flying with your wings, like don't you feel nauseas with your feet touching absolutely nothing?" he asks and Sergeant Wilson smiles.
"At first it was rather strange, I always felt dizzy whenever I went out as Falcon but after a while the wings feel just as normal as a limb," Sergeant Wilson explains and the boy nods.
Colonel then points at a girl who asks, "How does one enlist? Is it a tough course or can anyone who really wants to help become apart of the forces?"
Smiling Colonel explains, "It takes a lot of work but you don't have to be an amazing athlete or professional shooter to be apart of this. There's a place for everyone in the different aspects of protection, be it marine, military or air force, as long as you work hard anyone can enlist. Just think of pre serum Steve Rogers despite all odds he became Captain America and was in the army."
This apparently is enough for her to approve as she nods understandingly.
Then Flash gets called on...
"Sergeant? Earlier Colonel said that there is a place for everyone but I believe him to be wrong," Flash explains and both heroes tilt their heads in confusion.
"You have to be a somebody to enlist, it would ruin our protection if let's say someone like Parker enlists, shouldn't the safety of our people matter more than a few nobody's who dreams of becoming apart of our force?" Flash asks and both the Colonel and Sergeant seem rather frustrated by the statement.
"Kid, no one is above anyone else, do not make the mistake of thinking this, anyone who is willing to work hard can be apart of our force. Do not think someone who is less fit than another or has worse hand-eye coordination makes them less of a value to our team. Understand?" Sergeant Wilson asks sternly and Flash simply nods. It's obvious he isn't use to being corrected.
"Now who is this Parker, you mentioned?" Colonel asks and I raise my hand.
"The kid who lasted longer than you in a fight against an Avenger? You think he is below you?" Colonel asks and I can feel my face turn red at all the attention.
"He's just Parker, sir," Flash explains and Colonel gives him a stern look.
"We don't approve of bullying here, if you have not yet realized this is a place of protection stop it or I'll escort you out of the building myself."
Ms. Lame then suddenly appears out of nowhere and huffs in annoyance, "You have the wrong kid, Flash is our school star, Parker is known as the school's biggest bully who is extreamly jealous of Flash," she informs the Colonel and I look to the side to see Wanda's eyes a bright red.
Luckily no one is paying attention to her so I just whisper that I'm fine and that we don't need the class to know about her so she calms down a bit and sticks to sending an annoyed look to the deputy head's direction.
Sergeant Wilson who is obviously the calmer one of the two adult Avengers present takes over the situation by saying, "From here on out anyone we see bullying another will be told to leave the premises," and ms Lame nods in approval.
After a few more random questions Colonel takes us all to the lunch hall where we get to buy anything to eat, as I was about to enter however he stops me and calls me to follow him, so I obey.
"Does that child oftenly say such rude things about you?" Sergeant asks and at first I consider lying but after noticing the genuine worry in their eyes I can't bring myself to face them and lie so instead I just nod my head.
"Please, leave it though I can take it, someone else may not be ab-"
"Hey!"
"Meow," Goose responds and I bend down to pet her.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Colonel says. "That's Goose, she's apart of the air force and doesn't practically like people."
I just smile and stroke her head until my Spideysense go off.
Running into the room I see Flash about to punch Wanda and my mind goes into auto pilot so I web his hand away then web him up.
Gasps can be heard from all across the room but I don't care as I run to Wanda's side to insure that she is ok.
"You didn't have to do that. I can take a punch," she says, smirking.
"Yeah, but you shouldn't have to."
"Worthless, Puny Parker, is Spider-Man?" Flash screams angrily and just as Sergeant Wilson, who was still in shock, was about to escort him, I hear the familiar sound of Mom's powers followed by an extreamly angry looking Mom and 'Mister' entering the room. I guess that is why Goose was here.
Mom then grabs Flash and flies of with him, Dad following her using magic. Ooh, I don't want to be in Flash's shoes right now.
"Uhh what just happened?" some random kid asks. "And who were they?"
"Well as for what happened, I have no idea but that was Captain Marvel and an old friend of her's, he just has everyone call him Mister," Colonel explains and then looks towards me, motioning for me to follow him so I obey.
"So Spider-Man then?" Sergeant asks and I nod.
"I asume that makes you the kid the Avengers met whist being children?" Colonel says and again I nod.
"Well then, nice to finaly meet you Tony had told me a lot about you," Colonel Rhodes says and I smile.
"Same here Cap also brings you up every so often," Sergeant Wilson says, "Nice to meet you kid."
"Nice to meet you both as well."
Nodding Colonel guides us back to where my class is and for a moment I panic about all the questions and that my secret identity will be exposed to the world but Colonel Rhodes then says, "Children, you all signed NDA's promising that anything you see here won't be uttered a word of to the outside world, that includes this little incident."
And the class sighs because now they can't post about it online so I laugh.
Cool.
