Peter D's pov
When I wake up it's about two in the morning and I feel an air of coldness wash over me, that's strange I don't usually get cold easily.

I turn around to try and reach for another blanket but instead feel a second wave wash over me; only this time it's a spiral of nausea that fills me, followed by mild dizziness.

I'm about to go and try to get up for a glass of water when I hear a knock-like sound from my door and softly whisper, "Yeah?"

Why am I whispering?

Fenris comes walking into my room and licks my face before picking me up by my shirt and carrying me to uncle Thor's room.

"No, that's really not needed Fenris, let the adults sleep they're busy in the daytime, I'm sure nothing is going on it's just nighttime that's causing me to feel strange."

Fenris seems to totally ignore this and I'm too dizzy to protest any further so I just lay weak as she carries me off.

Thor's pov
It's 2 am and I am unable to sleep so instead I turn to practicing my aim with Mjølnir throwing my hammer around my room when I hear a knock-like sound from my door.

"Come in?"

Fenris walks into my room carrying Petyr, who seems as though he is about to vomit. Seeing this I quickly place down my hammer and run to my nephew, taking him from the wolf and placing him on my bed.

As I touch Petyr to pick him up he is clearly warmer than he should be, so I get a thermometer and measure his temperature only to find it as 38.3 °C or 100.94 °F.

This is under normal rules a higher than normal temperature but for a frost giant, it's extremely bad.

Quickly I get a wet cloth and place it on my nephew's head. I am unsure what more to do since Loki and Carol do not want Petyr exposed to the public, yet, so the healers are off-limits. Until now the only people who caught small or large glimpses of Petyr Lokison are the guards and helps of the palace who are all sworn by oaf to never say anything they see at the palace to the outside world as that could endanger things like battle strategy etc.

So instead I ask Fenris to go wake up Loki as there is no way I could make Petyr's fever break since he needs frost giant level coldness to do just that and Loki is the only one that could summon such a piece of ice, that is both nearby and will be more than willing to help.

Loki's pov
I'm very rudely awoken by the sound of growling and a paw repeatedly tapping my head.

Looking at the time it's 2 am so I am unsure what the wolf wants from me and instead just go back to sleep. Well, I try to go back to sleep until Fenris apparently gives up on being polite and just picks me up in her mouth sprinting towards Thor's chambers.

What is going on with her?

Before I can proceed with my questioning Fenris open the door to my brother's room only to reveal him holding several pieces of ice to Petyr's head.

"Brother, Fenris got you up," Thor muses, and I stare worryingly at my son.

"What's wrong? Is he okay? What happened?"

"Fenris brought Petyr here a few minutes ago since I was awake. I have been trying to calm down his fever, but it just keeps on rising, it's at 39°C (102.2°F) now and still growing," Thor explains calmly and I rush to where Petyr is laying on brother's bed.

"Hey, min sønn. (my son~Norwegian) How are you feeling?'

"Dad?" Petyr responds weakly, and I go to sit next to Petyr, turning both of us into our frost giant forms.

This does nothing to cool down his fever as it's still measured at 39°C (102.2°F). Which is rather worrying.

Quickly Thor rushes out of the room, booming that he's going to fetch some medicine, while I freeze the room in hopes that it'll break the rising fever my son had somehow gotten.

Petyr seems to feel the effects of this cold as he curls himself into a ball and leans against my side with the hope that it'll warm him up but of course, it won't cause I too am in my Frost Giant form so I am as cold as the ice that is surrounding us.

"Dad, I don't feel so good," Petyr mumbles, and I measure his temperature a third time, 38.9°C (102.02 °F) so at least it's going down...

"Brother!" Thor screams and I turn to see him outside the door.

Making the ice around and on the door melt, I take the medicine from my brother and hand him a warm jacket.

"Is he showing any other symptoms of being sick?" Thor asks and I shake my head.

"I'm glad," brother responds and I smile at him.

"Likewise."

Not a full 20 minutes after this, Petyr's fever is completely broken and both Thor and I are rather tired.

Thor's chambers are still completely frozen, so I offer that him and I switch rooms for the night as I have no problem with sleeping in an ice-filled room. He agrees with the idea, ruffles Petyr's hair, and heads to bed while I plan to take Petyr to his chambers.

Note that I said plan, cause when I try to pick him up he in a sad voice says, "Dad please, I don't want to go, Dad, I don't want to go, please. Dad?"

So, I do not have the heart to move him. Instead, I get a fluffy blanket from his chambers and wrap it around Petyr joining him, who had just fallen into a deep and peaceful sleep, in sleeping.

What a sweet kid.
