After Pete woke up, Fury decided Maria had spent enough time with Pete so he "kidnapped" him and Monica from their rooms and took them to a paintball centre.

At the paintball centre

"Ehhhh, this is so cooooool, thank you Mr. Fury!"

"No problem, Kid," Mr. Fury says whilst shooting eight people at once. To be fair he is an agent, shooting with a paintball gun can't be that different to a regular one.

After an 10 mins-Fury, Monica and Pete won.

Just as they were finishing Fury looked to his left and saw a bright light, within stood Pete who's eyes were glowing gold.

"Peter, you need to stop," Fury told the child but the latter looked at him and shook his head.

"I don't know how, Mr. Fury," the youth responded. This caused Fury to call Carol.

"It's ok, Pete, your Mom is on her way. Just try to keep the destruction to a minimum," Fury said softly as he saw Pete begin to panic.

Suddenly an explosion went off a few meters next to him and it was clear Pete was loosing control even more.

"Breathe, Kiddo," Carol, who just came flying into the room, instructed.

"Shhhh, try to imagine an egg in a microwave, you don't want it to explode so you stop the timer just in time. Your body is the eggshell and your powers the edible parts, don't let it explode," Carol continued.

"Mom, I'm scared," Pete cried as Carol flew to right next to him and took his hand only for Pete to pull it back.

"Please, I-I don't want to hurt you, Mom," he cried and Carol smiled.

"Sweety, your powers are a replica of mine and mine is stronger since I've had it longer and have trained it, how do you plan to hurt me?"

Pete looked at her with hopeful eyes then realized, "I cant."

"Exactly, Kiddo," Carol continued and proceeded to take Pete's hand and help him control his power.

"There all beter," Carol commented when Pete was back to not glowing, holding his Mom's hand.

"Are you ok, Mr. Danvers?" Fury questioned and Pete laughed.

"Never better," the boy responded as Monica, who had just squeezed the life out of him, himself, Carol and Fury walked to the car, to drive back to Maria's home.

"Carol, you must teach Pete to use his powers, what if that happend when he was in school?"

"To be fair I have started teaching him, we just had a hectic day yesterday which is why I haven't continued yet," Carol responded matter of factly causing Pete and Monica to giggle a little as they listened to the grownups from the back seat.

"Well teach him quicker," Fury told Carol the latter just raising her eyebrow.

"You do realize it took me years to master my powers, Pete won't learn over night, relax. I know what I'm doing," Carol explained and Fury raised an eyebrow at her.
