Nat's pov
I wake up and take Peter to school an hour afterwards. He has been quiet the whole ride. I really want him to know we're not mad but the right words don't seem to want to formulate.

"Pete? You know I'm not mad at you right?"

"What? Ms. Nat I promise I know, I just feel bad for scaring you," Peter admitted so I ruffle his hair.

"Clean slate my baby spider. No need to worry. All is forgiven. Just deal with the consequences."

"Ok," Pete promises and tries to fix his hair.

And we drive further, chatting as the ride goes on until I stop and Pete gets out running to school. Not before waving me goodbye though.

Petyr's pov
I tap the bracelet and summon fake me to go to school, he heads on there and I sling ring to 177A Bleecker street not wearing my invisibility  bracelet. I knock on the door and a clearly tired man, the same one who felt me in the library yesterday opens it asking what it is that I want.

I don't once look him in the eye but I do say:

"Uhm, sir, m-may I c-come in real quick, I-I kind of h-have some explaining to do."

Clearly caught of guard the man introduces himself as Wong and leads me inside.

"Who are you?" another tired looking man questions threateningly and I flinch.

"Strange, he's a child. Don't scare the poor thing," Mr. Wong says.

"Well he is wasting our time we need to find the Time stone," Mr. Strange says and I feel like I'm going to cry in guilt, they are obviously tired because of me.

"Uhm, sssir. My-my name is P-peter, I was here yesterday, I kind of g-got c-confused and accidentally t-took your neckless, here it is back. I'm s-sorry. It w-was an accident."

At this point there is no way I could face them so I look down but hand mr Wong the stone. The man taking it and looking at me.

"A child took our most dangarous weapon by accident?" Mr. Strange asks Mr. Wong. And I flinch at his voice.

"Peter? Why were you in here to begin with?" Mr. Wong questions but I use the lying skill I got from dad to say: "I-I g-got lost, I wanted to ask for directions so I came inside. I was s-so scared then I saw t-the neckless and it l-looked so pretty and made me feel safe, I have n-no idea w-what came over me but I took it a-and ran, but I've been feeling s-so guilty since. I am s-so s-sorry."

Mr. Wong and Mr. Strange exchange a look and then Mr. Strange says, "Kid. It is never ok to take something that doesn't belong to you. This neckless, as you call it, is extremely dangarous you could have gotten hurt or hurt someone else."

Mr. Strange then forces my chin up so that I look at him and my face turns red under his strict gaze.

"Promise me you'll never take something that doesn't belong to you again, Peter," Mr. Strange says and I nod, trying desperately to not look him in the eyes.

"Very well then, all is forgiven," Mr. Strange says and I smile greatfully. He then walks me out and I wave goodbye to him and Mr. Wong running off.

Wong's pov
"Strange?"

"That was certainly weird," came the sorcerer's awnser.

"When did you get good with children? It's like you knew exactly what to do."

Strange laughs and says, "I just did what they do in the movies" and we both laugh and head inside to take a much earned nap.

Petyr's pov
I sling ring back to Xandar where I see a woman wearing the outfit Dad discribed the Nova Corp leader to wear.

"E-excuse me ma'am?"

She looks at me and smiles but I can tell there is hurry in her eyes, they probably already discovered that the power stone was gone.

"Hello, child, she says and smiles again, what can I do for you?"

"I-uhh-I made a m-mistake. T-the big d-door looked s-so intriguing, I just w-wanted to see what was inside. A-and the b-ball just looked s-so cool. I shouldn't have but I took i-it t-to just look at it o-over night. I w-was never g-going to keep it. B-but I shouldn't have t-taken i-it in the f-first place so I wanted t-to tell you p-p-personally that I-I'm sorry and return the ball t-to you."

I take out the power stone and hand it to her without meeting her eyes.

"I'm so sorry."

She takes the orb and bends down next to me.

"Look at me child," she instructs strictly so I hesitantly obey.

"Taking something that doesn't belong to you is never ok. Never do that again. But you do have my thanks. This here is no ball, it's a dangerous weapon and seeing as though a child could easily take it, more safety protocols need to be made. Go tell a parent what you did and take any punishment they give you, futher you are forgiven," the woman says and I smile.

"Thank you, ma'am. I promise I'll tell my dad and again I'm sorry."

She nods and I run off to sling ring back to Earth...
