BEEPPP!
"Rachel, if you don't turn off that god awful sound, so help me god." I said irritatedly. "Okay." Rachel laughed as I heard her scurrying across the room.
"You should start getting ready. We only have five hours left. We can knock those five hours out in no time if we're on the road early. There will be no traffic." She suggested as I heard her opening her suitcase.
"Okay, okay. Jesus." I groaned as I tiredly sat up against the headboard of my bed. "You nag just like my mother." I mumbled as I climbed out of my bed. "I've already showered so, the bathroom is yours." Rachel informed me.
"Thanks." I replied as I grabbed my suitcase and lugged it all the way to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face before I turned on my shower water. Once the water temperature was at my liking, I climbed in.
I honestly didn't feel like washing my hair. So, I'm not going to. I washed it last night so, I'll be fine. When I was finished showering I immediately dried and started getting ready for the day.
After I was finished getting dressed, I quickly applied my makeup before I returned to the bedroom. I was surprised to see Rachel was all packed and ready to go.
"While I'm packing my stuff, can you see if there are any breakfast spots nearby? I am starving." I asked Rachel as I started packing the stuff that I had sitting on my nightstand. "Sure." Rachel smiled.
While she was doing that, I was reopening the GPS app on my phone to see how far are we and she's so right. We literally have five hours left to go. Not including the time, it will take to get on campus.
