After yesterday's debacle, Santana and I were finally able to calm Mercedes down. She basically vented and ranted to us about the emotions she has been feeling for the past two years.

It's crazy how her feelings are an ongoing theme in glee club.

People are starting to get tired of Mr. Shue's favoritism. Last year I wasn't having any of it. I'm not having it this year either. "Hey." Santana smiled as we were walking down the hallway. "Hi." I smiled.

"I'm surprised you didn't audition for a major role in this year's musical." My girlfriend told me. "Not doing that again. It took me a long ass time to learn my lines just for the musical to be canceled. Yeah, no thanks." I responded.

"Hey, girlies." Mercedes smiled as she joined us. "Well don't you look a lot happier?" I smiled. "How many solos did you get in Glee Club last year?" Mercedes asked Santana and I. "Two." I answered.

"A few." Santana answered. "One, Valerie. And I loved it." Mercedes corrected her. "I was also the lips in Rocky Horror." Santana added.

"Listen, if you two and I were in Shelby's group, we'd get all the solos. Our voices sound amazing together. Plus, it's an all-girl group." Mercedes smiled.

"Why would we care about all-girl?" Santana questioned.

"It's all lady power all the time. I mean, Shelby's a great teacher. I'm...I'm hitting notes I didn't even know existed. She gets me what I have to give. It feels good." Mercedes responded before walking away.

"So what do you think?" I asked my girlfriend. "We should definitely think it over." Santana replied. As I was looking at her, I saw Finn in the distance. "Eavesdrop much?" I asked and he walked away.
