"No. Of course not." Marley responded and I sighed deeply. She's obviously lying. "She hungry and dehydrated. I'm going to go grab you a cup of water and a granola bar from the teacher's lounge. I'll be right back." The nurse said before she exited the cubicle.
"Do you want to tell me why you're skipping meals?" I asked seriously as I folded my arms. "I...I didn't skip any meals." Marley stammered. "If you're going to lie, at least make it sound believable." Santana stifled a laugh.
"Now, are you going, to tell me the truth, or are you going to keep playing in my face like I'm an idiot?" I asked as I sat down next to the younger girl. "I've received a tip from a friend on how to lose weight quickly." She admitted.
"Who's this friend?" Santana asked. "I can't say." Marley responded. "For starters, that person is not your friend. Secondly, there are not only healthier but safer ways to lose weight." I said seriously.
"You're far too young to treat your body like this. You're a growing girl who has rigorous glee club five days a week, most likely a mountain of homework every other night and tests every other day. On top of that, you have a social life as well." I added.
"Without the proper amount of nutrients, your body is bound to shut down. So please, promise me that you will stop skipping meals. I don't want to see you going through the same thing I went through at your age." I told her seriously.
"You...skipped meals? Why? Your body is perfect." Marley said taken aback. "I can say the same thing to you. Anyways, yes I did. But, I got the proper help and learned a healthier way of losing weight." I said softly as I stood up from my spot on the cot.
