Camira's POV
It's moving day and I'm sad. I'm leaving my best friends. But at least I can avoid some of the drama.
Alex, Jazmine, Dylan, and Jack spent the night with me last night. Since we didn't have to pack anything.
Now they're helping me put the boxes into a moving truck. Since my mom doesn't want me to drive alone, she's having a chauffeur driving me. His name is Bob. Yeah I know sounds weird.
"Alright this is the last box," Alex said, putting it into the truck.
"Alright guys I'm going to miss you," I said, being strong. I didn't want to cry in front if them. "I'm going to miss you Cammy," Alex said hugging me. "I'm going to miss you too," I told him smiling at him.
"Text me everyday," Jazmine said, tearing up. "I will I promise," I told her. "I'm not going to be gone for the rest of my life. I'm coming back," I told her. "I know I'm just going to miss you," she said. "I know," I said hugging her.
I'm going to miss you cupcake," Jack said smiling. "I'm going to miss you too Jackypoo," I told him, giving him a hug.
"Cammy, you're my absolute best friend. I don't know what om going to do with you gone. You've always been there for me, ever since sixth grade. You helped me with the crush I had in Santana. And the one I still have on her. You've been my back bone. And I love you." He said, looking me in my eyes.
"I got you this I was going to wait but I decided to give it to you now," he said, handing me a black box. When I opened it I saw a necklace with a key with black on the bottom. I was confused until I turned it around. It said 'Friend.'
"I have the other part." He said. He took out his part. It was a pink heart with a piece missing. He turned it around and it said 'Best.' He took the key and put it in the missing part of the heart. They were a match.
"Thanks Dyl. I love you too." I said, tearing up hugging him. " Look in the box again," Dylan said. I looked and I saw a piece of paper. I took it out and it read: " Remember that you are beautiful, smart, and that you will always have Dylan there for you. No matter the distance. Or the circumstance."
"Dylan you are my best friend and I love you because of that," I told him hugging him. Dylan is my best friend. He's always there for me, and I'll always be there for him.
"Ms. Sullivan it's time to leave," Bob said, walking up to us.
"Okay," I told him, he nodded. I love all of you. And I'll miss you," I said giving them each a hug.
I walked over to the truck, about to get in when Dylan stopped me. "Let me do the honors of putting the necklace on you before you leave," he said, I nodded handing him the necklace.
He grabbed the necklace, then put it around my neck." Thanks Dyl," I said. "You're welcome cupcake," he said giving me a kiss on the cheek, winking at me.
He opened the door for me, and I got in. I waved to them as Bob and I drove off.
I'm ready to start my new life, but not exactly ready to leave my old one.
