Camira's POV
Jayce has been avoiding me all week. Tomorrow is Regionals day and I'm already nervous. I was trying to call Jayce and tell him that I have to kiss Jonathan. But he hasn't answered any of my calls.
Maybe I'll just have to go to his house.
************************I pulled up into his driveway and I saw his car. At least he's home alone. I walked up to his door and knocked on it.
I was expecting Jayce to open the door but some girl with red hair opened the door.
"Hello. Who are you?" She asked me with a British accent. She had on a black and white Kasia dress and black pumps. She looked way better than me I only had on a cream colored tank top, a black cardigan, black jeans, and my white Keds.
"I'm Jayce's girlfriend," I told her. She started laughing. Why is she laughing?
"Darling, Jayce doesn't have a girlfriend, yet. But if you like him you'll certainly have a chance after I do." She replied with a smirk.
I literally want to punch that smirk off of her face. I pushed her to the side, so I could get through. I walked up to Jayce's room and opened the door.
He was sitting on his bed doing nothing. "Jayce Ernesto Antonio!" I shouted. He looked up at me, but soon turned his head.
"What do you want?" He asked a little too harshly. What's his problem?
"You've been avoiding me," I said. "Wow. Something that we both know," he stated rudely. This isn't the Jayce that I know.
"What's your problem?!" I exclaimed getting angrier by the second. He gave me a look filled with snarkiness. "You can just get out," he said getting up.
"You're being a complete Asshole! I'm done with being your girlfriend!" I shouted as I stormed down the hallway past the British girl.
I saw Jayce walking down the stairs. He stopped for a moment looking at me walk out door. But I went back inside. "Have fun with your British bitch!" I shouted.
*********************I'm so nervous right now. We're at Regionals and of all times, I'm nervous now. "Hey, you look nervous," Jonathan said walking up behind me. "That because I am," I told him.
"You're going to be fine," he reassured me. I sent him a smile, but I don't think that it looked reassured. "I know that you're worried, but you'll do great. I know that you will. I have total faith in you." He told me. I sent him a huge smile, but it quickly faded.
I looked at the school that was currently on stage, and I was intimidated. "But they're really good," I told him. "But we'll be better. You'll be better," he told me.
It's always nice having someone there for you. And that someone right now for me happens to be Jonathan.
"Hey Camira could I talk to you for a second," I heard a voice say. When I turned around I was shocked. It was McKenzie Lexinger.
"Yeah sure," I said apprehensively. I looked at Jonathan before I walked away with McKenzie.
"First off, I wanted to apologize for what I did to you when we were kids. It was totally uncalled for. I knew that you liked Jonathan and I took him. And I wanna apologize for the thing with Ben. After I thought about what I did I realized that it was childish and foolish. I should've reasoned with you like an adult and I didn't." She explained.
Wow she's actually stepping up. This is really surprising. "Can we ever be friends again?" She asked me. "Yeah we can totally be friends," I told her.
