Camira's POV
I walked into the familiar skating rink, the smell of pizza quickly filling my nose. I remember when I was younger that I would come here every Thursday and just skate here and have fun with my friends.
I got my skates and put them on. Once I saw my friends I quickly skated over to them.
"Hey guys," I said smiling. "Hey," they all said smiling. Cynthia's dad owns this place and many others so it makes sense that she would usually throw parties here.
"Okay guys. Welcome to Cynthia's party! So tonight we're going to start with the first game which is Color Skate. Basically you and a partner will skate around until I stop the music. Then you both will have to skate to a random spot on the floor. The spot will continuously change colors, so you better hope that you win. If you do I have a cash money prize for you from Mr. Big man over there." The Dj, Cal, explained.
'Mr. Big man' is Cynthia's dad. He's so rich, I'm not even kidding. But he lives an average life, as far as I know. He's pretty cool. He's a fun person to be around , and I love the relationship that he has with Cynthia. She'll do anything for him, and he'll do anything for her.
Everyone paired up with someone. I couldnt find a partner, until Jayce held his hand out. I gladly took it, smiling at him. Sadly he didn't return the smile back. I really hope that he doesn't hate me. He doesn't even know me yet.
"Okay Skaters! Start skating when the music starts. And..........go," Cal said.
Both Jayce and I started skating. The song that was playing was 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX.
' First things first, I'm the realest (realest)
Drop this and let the whole world feel it (let them feel it)
And I'm still in the Murda Bizness, I can hold you down
Like I'm givin' lessons in physics (right right)
You should want a bad bitch like this (huh?)
Drop it low and pick it up just like this (yeah)
Cup of Ace, cup of Goose, cup of Cris
High heels, somethin' worth a half a ticket on my wrist (on my wrist)
Takin' all the liquor straight, never chase that
(Never) Rooftop like we bringin' '88 back (what?)
Bring the hooks in, where the bass at? Champagne spillin', you should taste that
I'm so fancy, you already know
I'm in the fast lane, from L.A. to Tokyo
I'm so fancy, can't you taste this gold?
Remember my name, 'bout to blow'
When the music stopped Jayce and I immediately stopped on a spot. Luckily we were already on one.
"Okay everyone the color is........red!" Cal said. Jayce and I looked down and saw that our spot was indeed red.
"Winners come retrieve your prize," Cal said. We skated over to him and he handed us boh a fifty dollar check. He said that we couldn't play in this game so we just sat down. We were in an awkward silence until Jayce decided to break it.
"Camira, sorry about being rude to you earlier. I didn't mean to be. I'm just not good with new people," Jayce said apologetically.
"It's cool. I'm the same way unless I absolutely have to speak to them," I told him.
"Can we start over?" He asked, hopefulness evident in his voice, I nodded.
"Hi, I'm Jayce." He said smiling, holding out his hand. "I'm Camira," I said returning the smile, shaking his hand.
***************************
Jayce and I ended up talking for the rest of the night. We didn't even realize that it was late until Cal told us that the night was coming to a close.
Jayce was really cool. He's so easy to talk to. It's only been a few hours and I already see him as a great friend. Or maybe even more. Just kidding. A little bit.
Before we both left we exchanged numbers. Which ended in us both staying up all night texting each other, about absolutely nothing. Like I said he was easy to talk to.
I found myself going to sleep peacefully.

Cameron's POV
I'm still confused on this whole situation that Dana was talking about. I haven't seen Mac all morning. After my Geometry class I ran to her locker. When I went around the corner I saw her kiss Ben then he walked away. I feel like my heart was just ripped into two pieces. This is why I should've stayed away from her. I walked up to her just as she was about to close her locker.
"Hey babe," she said standing on her tippy toes to kiss me. I quickly stepped away from her. "What's wrong?" She asked, looking slightly concerned.
"What's wrong? You you're what's wrong," I said angrily. I saw a crowd migrating our way, but I could care less.
"What did I do?" She asked innocently. "You did so many things. First, you got me to quit football for No reason. Then while I was gone with my buddies YOU were dating THAT BEN GUY. AND YOU MADE ME BE A COMPLETE ASS TO MY SISTER NOW SHE'S GONE," I shouted at her.
"I'm done you can have that Ben guy. As a matter of fact, you can have any guy that you want except me. I never want to speak to a bitch like you ever again. We're done," I said walking away, leaving McKenzie and the crowd stunned.
I don't care what people are going to think about me now. I'm just glad that I'm done with McKenzie. I feel like a complete Jackass. I know that everyone is going to be asking me questions, but honestly I don't care. I feel so stupid right now. Not only did I lose my faithfulness to football. But I also lost one of the most important people in my life, Camira. She's always been there for me, and I was just a total Jackass to her. All because of a stupid girl.
I have to tell her about this. And apologize.
And I also need to thank Dana.
