Chapter 39

                Mac's POV

Ben's friend is cute. And I bet he's athletic. I wonder what I can do with him. He looks pretty loyal to Ben. I'm going to have to get him to open up a little bit.

               Camira's POV

Cameron, Connor, Chad, and I all finished signing the will papers. Even though I didn't want to, Jayce convinced me that it would be best if I did.

I'm glad to have him with me. He makes me happy, and my brothers like him. And Chase likes him! Chase doesn't like ANY boys that I hang out with. Except my best friends of course.

"Okay now that that's done I want all of you to know about my grand children's father." Gramps started.

"He's a conniving snake. He wants me to die for sure. That's why I wanted you to sign the will papers," he continued. I knew that my father was a bad person, but he wants my gramps dead. What kind of sick person is he?

"He's trying to get the money that I've saved over the years. He's still sneaking around with Natalie and Nicole's mom, Katherine," he said. I knew it! That's why he was never home.

"But sadly their mom is too naive to do anything. When I die I need you four to promise me something," he said, we each nodded for him to continue.

"I want you to inherit the money that I give you. I'm giving you each a quarter of a million dollars," he said. My mouth dropped along with the others. That's two hundred fifty thousand dollars.

"Gramps I can't except that," I told him. "No, you will it's one of my wants when I die. But you have to pay ten percent to the church as your tithes. Also, I want you to find a way to catch your father in his cheating. I hate to see my daughter suffer with his idiotic ways," he said. We all nodded.

"With the money I'm giving you I want you to take care of each other. And your partners. And also your younger brothers and sisters. Even if they aren't blood related, they are still worth it. They aren't the same as your father. If you are ever in need of extra money I have trust funds for each and every one of you. I kept it away from your mother because I knew that she would tell your father about it. Then he would just spend it on Katherine and Natalie and Nicole."  He continued.

"And for my last wish I want you all to be happy. If you make it there, I want you to marry the people in which you are holding hands with at this second. Each and every single one of you is special. And you have to remember that." He finished, I heard Gran lock her car. She came in through the door with a shocked look on her face.

"Why are you downstairs?" She asked gramps. "Just chatting with the teens," he said, smiling at us.

"You're probably scaring them to death let's go back upstairs," Gran said taking his hand. 

"It was nice meeting you all. Remember what I told you," gramps said walking up the stairs.

"That's a lot to take in," Cameron said, we all nodded. "Well we have to be getting home. So we'll talk to you all later," Dana said, walking towards the door. "Bye!" We all said to them as they walked out the door.

"Come on let's go for a walk," Jayce told me, grabbing my hand. I nodded my head, I told Chad and Connor that I would be back soon. Then Jayce and I started walking to no exact destination.

"This is so depressing. My gramps is going to die," I told Jayce. We've been walking for ten minutes now. "I know hat you don't want him to die but it will get better. I know, my close uncle died a couple of months ago," he told me, I could tell that he meant what he said.

"How did you cope with the situation?" I asked him. "Well I wasn't handling it well until you came. You basically gave me something to be happy about," Jayce explained to me. I smiled up at him. "Just like you were there for me, I'll be there for you," he said.

I stopped walking, I looked up at him. When I looked at him I got a look at his emerald green eyes, the sun made them illuminate more than usual.

We just stood there in silence, staring at each other. Then he started to lean in, the next thing I knew we were kissing.

The moment was pure bliss, I felt as if I was on top of the world. Absolutely nothing could match how I'm feeling right now. We eventually pulled away.

"Wow," he said out of breath. "Yeah wow," is all I managed to say. The kiss had that much of an affect on me. That was our first kiss as a couple.

"Come on it's getting late. I don't want your brothers to hate me," he said causing me to laugh.

We walked back to my Gran's house, hand in hand, probably smiling like idiots.

Finally I'm happy for once.
