Camira's POV
"I'm so sorry about Chase, he's pretty...... You know special,"I told Ben. Chase has always been like that. I think that he doesn't like Ben.Right now we're both in Ben's room. "It's fine, I know what it's like," Ben said.
"You do?" I asked him surprised. I thought that he was an only child.
"Yeah. I have a younger sister and brother. They're both around the same age as your little brothers and sisters," Ben explained to me. "You'll get to meet them during dinner." He continued.
"Hey guys. Do you guys want some sugar cookies that I baked?" A lady with light brown hair asked. She must be his mom.
"With sprinkles?" I asked hopeful. "Of course," she replied with a bright smile.
Can this family get any better? "Yeah, sure. Thanks mom," Ben said. "Okay, I'll be right back," his mom said.
Before Ben and I could continue our previous conversation my phone started vibrating. I looked at it but when I saw the name I threw it back down.
"Who is it?" Ben asked his eyes filled with concern. "It was Chris." I said. When I looked up at Ben's face, I saw a mad expression on his face. "Ben what's wrong?" I asked him worried.
"Earlier today before I drove you home Chris came up to me and threatened me. He said that if I didn't leave you alone, then I would regret it. Of course I didn't listen. But he gives me this weird feeling." Ben told me.
"Chris is the reason why I almost lost Santana. He lied saying that I liked him but it wasn't true," I said anger in every word. Just the thought of him made me want to punch something close.
"I'm gonna go hang out with your mom downstairs. I'll be back in ten minutes." I said walking out of his room.
"Good luck with that," he yelled making me chuckle.
As I walked down the stairs, I heard the front door open and close. It must be Ben's dad coming home from work or something. When I reached the end of the staircase, I saw a tall guy. He had to be at least six feet tall. When he turned around I got a better look at him.
'Woah! That's definitely not Ben's dad. He's too cute.' My inner voice said. We agree on something! Twice in one day awesome!
He had brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He was pretty cute if you ask me.
"Hi," he said, his teeth sparkling as he smiled. "Hey," I said back. I have a tendency to get nervous whenever I talk to a boy that I don't know. I don't know why, I just do. Cameron isn't shy, but I am.
"I'm Michael," he said holding out his hand. "Camira," I said shaking his hand.
"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl," he said making me blush.
"Michael, stop flirting. You're going to scare her away," Ben's mom said making both Michael and I laugh. "Sorry mom. I couldn't help it," he said to her.
"I'm sorry about my son," his mom told me. "It's fine." I told her. Trust me the pleasure was all mine.
"What did you need honey?" Ben's mom, Evangeline asked.
"I just wanted to hang out with you," I told her. She looked surprised. I guess Ben never likes to hang out with her.
"Sorry, but I have to finish baking the apple pie," she said apologetically. "It's cool. I'll go back upstairs with Ben." I told her.
"Hey. You can hang out with me instead." Michael said with a smile. "I don't think-," Evangeline started.
"No. It's fine with me. Unless you're not okay with it. If not I can go back upstairs with Ben," I told her. "Go ahead sweetie," she said smiling.
"Don't try anything Michael," she added. "No promises mom," Michael said.
What did I get myself into?
