Back in Duncan Cove.
When Wendy, Georgia along with Precilla and Cynthia returned from their nail appointment and fitting mixed with an impromptu shopping spree.
On an impulse that got her acting all wild and carefree, in her possession now was a rather daring lingerie that caused her to now be a walking bunch of nerves.
She had to admit she was excited about what that impulse had caused her to get and it was now stashed away in a small shopping bag beneath her maid of honour dress stashed protectively in its garment bag that rested over her arm.
She was very also jittery about seeing Deacon.
She felt all flustered and filled with a ton of butterflies in her stomach as she approached their room. She clutches the bag handle tightly and tried to steady her beating heart as she mounted the stairs. She was also a nervous wreck as she was scared she was taking this farce beyond where it should go, but with what Deacon had offered her when they returned from the orchard she knew she wanted it.
To hell with the back and forth she was going to take the bull by the born and enjoy the ride. She smiled mischievously at the thought.
He was right there was something between them and she did not want to deny it. This was an opportunity that she would grasp and savour the moment before reality took it away from her.
With trembling fingers, she gripped the door handle turned it open and step into the dimly lit room. Her eyes scan the room for Deacon as her ears strain to listen for any sounds that he might be in the bathroom.
When she heard nothing she quickly places her dress in the closet and then take the little shopping bag and practically rush to the bathroom.
She hurriedly closes the door turn the knob and lean against the door her heart beating like an African war drum in her chest. She closed her eyes and found herself erupting in hysterical giggles. If Leela could see her now surely she would be cracking up.
She took audible breaths to relax her crazy nerves and quietly had a one on one with her flustered self.
"Relax girl you did it last night surely you know it's only going to happen again. A sweet treat in glorious repetition."
She could not help but blush and chuckle as last night memories came rushing to the surface. It relaxed her and she found herself now bubbling with anticipation as she undressed and step into the shower.
She turned on the shower and let the cool water spill over her heated frame before she reached for her jasmine and lavender shower gel squeeze it on her washcloth to lather her body. She hummed as she let the soothing shower relax her further.
She smiled as she thought of where her white lie had taken her. It took her straight into the arms of the man she was now aware she was starting to care for very deeply. If she should fail to keep her rationality she would be falling head over heels in love with Decon Ffrench.
All she had to do was remain focus on the reality and not let feelings blow things out of proportion. Yes, that was a good plan as any.
The thought of being in Deacon's arms made her grin as she alights from the shower stall and towel dry herself. If she should admit she was rather happy that she got these few days with Deacon.
It was lovely being back home with her mother aunt and cousin, just being a family and seeing how they all gravitate to Deacon and how he fit in made her a bit optimistic that something great could come from her lies.
What she wanted was to see that this turn into a reality and she got a chance at being more than a means to saving his friend. He was indeed a wonderful man and she liked more than anything to have him being a part of her and her family's life.
He offered her a compromise and it was all good considering where she was coming from but in the past days, all she knew is that she wanted Deacon and to have with him what reality she could procure from this farce of a relationship.
She was no longer concerned with the past, holding resentments or running away from the hurt. It was time she let go and live a little, make a few more mistakes than just sitting around thinking all would be ok if she ran away.
As she applied moisturiser to her hands and legs she knew that it was time she let Brandon and the past go. Allow life to charter the course of her journey to what might end up being a happy ending.
However, the only way to do that was not running and telling the truth eventually, but for now she would take all of what Deacon compromise entails. She was through being a bitter coward and it was time she started feeling again.
With a sigh of resignation, she took the shopping bag and remove the contents when she emerges from the bathroom her hair brushed to frame her face, lips full of promise beneath cherry flavoured lipgloss and smelling of vanilla and lilies she was willing and ready for all Deacon offered.
On bare feet, she walks to the bedside touch lamps and brings the lights to their lowest giving the room a seductive atmosphere as it mixed with the sultry moonlight the slipped in through the drawn curtains of the half-open windows.
For a few minutes she stood there looking out into the approaching night thinking of the many adventures Preston Manor had offered her. Tonight was no exception and she was livid on having this new adventure. She smiles as she thought of the things she wanted to experience and to gather to store away for when the day came for the adventure to end.
Her smile faltered a bit because she knew she did not want it to end, she had even found herself earlier today when they met Sandra Darby and her newborn dreaming of having Deacon's children. Yes, she had it bad.
They would have his grey eyes with curly mops of brunette hair, skin of bronze and his gorgeous smile. She rests her hand on her stomach and knew however that was never going to be as that was going way over her head but that did not stop her from having a barrage of fantasies with curly hair kids and a grey-eyed Adonis that had her heart.
She turned from the window pushing all thoughts of Deacon's children from her mind as her heart began to race in anticipation. Where was her grey-eyed Adoni?
She glanced at the bedside clock seeing that it was now approaching seven. She had texted him informing him that they were returning home and he had responded with, 'Can't wait beautiful', sending her jumbled senses reeling out of control.
He sure knows how to drive her crazy, and she was getting crazy anxious now that she was dressed and waiting. She walked over to her bag and retrieve her phone only to realize that there were messages from him and Leela.
She quickly opened them read through seeing that he had gone with Adam to the winery. She answered Leela's messages and assured her that she would see her as soon as they return to Dresdale then on an impulse took a picture of her attire and send it to Deacon.
She gave a little yelp as she heard his phone chimed outside their bedroom door and like a deer caught in headlights she watched as a few seconds later the handle of the door as it turned, then the door being pushed open and Deacon stepping into the room his mesmerising grey eyes devouring her as he pushed the door shut.
She trembled as his eyes travelled her body with each step he took towards her. She swallowed visibly when he came to stand behind her the heat of his body surrounding her like a comfortable cloak.
She trembled some more when he pulled her hair away from her face tuck it behind her ear and said softly his warm breath sending her into higher heights of arousal.
"You sure know how to drive me crazy Wendy."
