28/05/4013 AD – 13:58 – Iceikco – Ultrayan Alliance Headquarters – Outside the Meeting Room

"That was a pretty entertaining fight", said Olicleaver to Hyperzio. The two Human-formed Wyperians were walking down a corridor together in order to attend a scheduled meeting.

"You think so?" replied Hyperzio. "I think most people were disappointed by the slow start and very fast ending".

"That's only because they lack the eye for intellectual fights", Olicleaver shrugged. "Small attacks to lower the shield, taunts to bait out that Shadow Ability; it was all perfectly planned. I saw it all from the screen in the armoury".

"I wanted to show Sollikarr that it's better to take things slowly", Hyperzio commented. "By the way, how come you watched the fight on a screen and not in person? I gave you a free ticket".

"I was working on my sub-machine gun", Olicleaver stated briskly.

"It doesn't take twenty or so hours to make a sub-machine gun, does it?" Hyperzio questioned.

"Well maybe I was doing something else, but let's just call it a 'secret project'", Olicleaver said smugly. "You know, see how you like it".

Hyperzio sighed and then walked into the meeting room; the other officers were already there, all in Human form. This was the first time the group had seen Crystrx as a Human. Her hair was long and beautiful; the straight pearl-coloured style went all the way down her back and her fringe slightly covered one of her pale-blue eyes. She may be in her fifties, but the Human forms of Wyperians barely aged appearance-wise once they reached adulthood; Crystrx looked no older than twenty. Anmarina was stood to the side, trying to spruce up her own hair, constantly trying to pull down her deep-blue hair over her own eye.

Olicleaver whispered to Hyperzio, "I know most people would love to be in your position, but I really don't envy you".

"What do you mean?" asked Hyperzio.

"Yes..." Anmarina glared at Olicleaver. "What DO you mean?"

"Err... I", Olicleaver gulped before frantically waving his hands around in defence. "I just mean that Hyperzio has to plan our next strategy all by himself. That must be difficult". Olicleaver quickly scurried over to Dracolast who, in typical fashion, was leaning against a wall; there were plenty of seats, but they didn't 'look cool enough'.

Staruthia sat on a small armchair and smiled, "Ah to be young again". Hyperzio ignored all the drama and went over to Sollikarr, who was laying on a black sofa, with his eyes closed and arms behind his head. Again, Hyperzio didn't know whether Sollikarr was genuinely tired or if he was just trying to look cool.

"Hey", Hyperzio quietly spoke. "We good?"

"No", replied Sollikarr. "You kicked my ass in front of millions".

"You agreed to the challenge".

"Yeah, but you didn't have to toy with me to begin with. Why not just use 'Hyper Speed' to end it in about four seconds?"

"Because rushing in headfirst is a stupid- you know what, I'm done explaining this", Hyperzio got angry before quickly calming down. "We will search for Novaran, but at a steady pace. We cannot abandon everything for him".

Sollikarr opened one eye, "Yeah, yeah, just get on with the plan already". Hyperzio nodded and went over to a large screen; it started to show a map of Ultraya.

"Well the first thing we need to prepare is our collective military force and figure out how to distribute it across the system", Hyperzio announced. No one was listening. Crystrx and Anmarina had started bickering again, Olicleaver was hiding behind Dracolast, Sollikarr didn't care, and Staruthia was napping peacefully in the centre of the room. The new General sighed and switched to Wyperian form.
