26/05/4013 AD – 00:35 – Earth's Orbit – Carazstar – Hangar Bay
Hyperzio and Oliver landed their ships in the lower left hangar of the Carazstar. It was just as Hyperzio remembered it. as open and dull as ever. However, the new logo of the Alliance decorated the end of the hangar. It had four green diamond shapes in the centre, representing the Ayratulia, two circles either side of that group, representing Earth and the Moon and finally, three thin spikes representing the typical helmets of Wyperian officers; one spike pointed North, one South-East and one South.
Hyperzio got down from the cockpit of the stolen Mylialta and went over to Anna, who was still clinging desperately to the wing. Before he could speak, Anna shot him a fierce glare from her now red visor and he backed away, understanding the situation. Oliver still sat in the cockpit of his machine; since docking, the digital display had returned back to its transparent glass state.
'We are surrounded. There are turrets all over the ceiling and dozens of Wyperians are all staring at us', Oliver thought. 'These Wyperians look more like the typical ones we used to see on TV; the type that destroyed cities. Spiked helmets and weapons holstered on their belts, well, except that one'. The golden Wyperian from the video message was waiting to greet the team, however Hyperzio was the only one moving. Hyperzio shrugged and moved over to the other group of Wyperians, who all immediately stood to attention upon his approach.
"Welcome back, Commander Hyperzio", said the golden one.
"You don't have to speak so formally, Sollikarr", laughed Hyperzio. "I never wanted the Angel-Ranks to become military ranks. Besides, I haven't been informed on anything at all, nor do we have any weapons or equipment, so we'll need to resupply... or just regular supply, I guess; do you have a modification chamber on board?"
"Yeah, about that", Sollikarr hesitated. "We are heading to a secret base we have built on Iceikco; you should be able to equip there".
"Wait, wait, wait", Hyperzio paused. "What do you mean a secret base? Why can't we just head to the Alliance Headquarters?"
"Well that's the thing; the H.Q. was taken over by the A.E.R. We do have modification chambers on our ship, but they are all linked to the H.Q. so we can't exactly access them".
"Wonderful. I guess we have no choice then, we'll go to this 'secret base'".
"Speaking of 'we', do you mind telling me who they are?" Sollikarr nodded in the direction of the exploration team, still clinging to the wings of the Mylialta.
"Oh, they were worthy comrades of mine throughout my Human life, but above all of that, they are my friends", Hyperzio tried to wave them over, to no avail. "They changed into Wyperians along with me when they touched the metal you sent down. However, they seem to not be as comfortable with this whole thing as I am, I mean, understandably".
"Well we'll take them to Iceikco and decide on what to do then", Sollikarr sighed. "Maybe they'll even help us retake our H.Q." He gave a strong salute and then walked off towards the bridge; the remaining Wyperians dispersed and went back to their jobs.
Hyperzio walked over to the rest of his team and folded his arms, "Come on! You guys are acting childish!"
"We don't even know what's going on!" said Anna, finally jumping off the Mylialta's wing.
"I know things have been difficult between us, but you'll be able to understand things a lot better when we land", Hyperzio tried to reason with his teammates. "Even I'm not sure on what is going on at the moment with the Ultrayan Alliance". Oliver and Daniel had also got down from their fighter; Oliver was stamping lightly on the ground, testing the literal gravity of the situation whilst Daniel was still enraged.
