Three armoured beings were flying through the sunset sky; the orange glow of the sun illuminated the skies whilst the city beneath them burned bright with flames.
"We are closing in on the target", Alpha stated as he, Fated and Jonathon flew across Ailutarya. Alpha's four thruster wings were spread out wide, slowing himself down in order to maintain the same pace as the other two. He glared at a Shutenghen that appeared to be heading towards the same spot as the trio's destination.
"Acknowledged, preparing equipment", Fated reached for his Mulria, modified with an under-barrel grenade launcher that fired flash grenades.
"Remember", Jonathon explained his plan as the cuboid devices on his legs and arms kept him in the air via some kind of energy thrust emitting from the three engines imbedded in each of them. "Fated is to keep the Angel blinded whilst Alpha is to keep any other enemies from interfering. I shall fight the disorientated Ru-Flare".
"Commander", Alpha's voice sounded like any other Human's; in fact, both A.I. had extremely realistic voices. "With all due respect, are you sure your Drive System is powerful enough to avoid Ru-Flare's attacks?"
Fated agreed with his fellow A.I., "He's right, we all saw the video, Ru-Flare can spread fire far and wide. Your system doesn't have the thrust that our wings provide us with".
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys", Jonathon spoke sarcastically. The three had all seen Ru-Flare's broadcast and, knowing the U.A. had their hands full with the battle at Alton, Jonathon decided to launch as a separate strike force and stop the Angel in her tracks.
"Commander Drivra", Fated spoke up. "There are multiple Elite-class units ahead. Detecting that Elite Hyperzio and Elite Anmarina are battling against Elite Ru-Flare and three unknowns. Reinforcements are approaching".
"Why do you keep saying 'Elite'?" asked Jonathon.
"It is how we were programmed to analyse units: powerful combatants and high-ranking officers are labelled as 'Elites'", Alpha replied.
"Well just so you know, Hyperzio is the head of the entire U.A.: a General", Jonathon explained. "Anmarina also possesses the rank of Guardian; be sure to use their respective ranks".
"Acknowledged", confirmed Fated. "I will update the database; Elite Commander Hyperzio and Elite Guardian Anmarina are fighting Elite Ru-Flare and three unknowns".
"Ugh whatever", Jonathon sighed. "Just stop saying 'Elite', it makes us sound elitist".
"Erm..." Alpha started to point out.
"Yes, I realised as soon as I said it", Jonathon cut off the A.I.
"Commander, Guardian Anmarina is about to be attacked by an unknown", Fated informed the group. "It does not look like she will be able to survive much longer. Recommend we engage, now".
"Got it, scrap the plan: Alpha, rush down the flying unknown. Fated, attack the underground unknown; force it to surface", Jonathon ordered. "Take no prisoners". Alpha's four wings folded down behind his back; the engines ingrained within the thin wings all boosted inwards. The compressed energy all blasted backwards, and Alpha darted headfirst into the battle below. When allowed to reach his full potential, his speed was unmatched.

"A.E.R. forces: I recommend you retreat!" Jonathon boasted as Ru-Flare glared at him.
"What?!" Grouslash shouted. "Why would we do that?! You guys are just pathetic Humans and Hyperzio is all banged up, not to mention-"
