"Ow!" Anmarina stood up, glaring at Sollikarr. "What are you trying to do, kill me?!"
"Feeling better, are we?" he let out a small laugh. "Now, back to Hyperzio-" Sollikarr froze in shock. He'd only taken his eyes off the fight for a few seconds, but Hyperzio was weakened, battered, and had an Angelic Cannon pointed at him. Hyperzio desperately tried to charge up his shoulder cannons once more as the Angel stared him down.
"Goodbye", Elimiphlaren's voice was cold. An orange blast fired from the barrel of the Angelic Cannon.
Hyperzio watched on in horror. 'I can't do anything, my weapons aren't charged, I can barely move, and my shield is depleted', he thought. 'The end? So soon after starting?' Dracolast slid in front of the blast and activated his shield, blocking the beam.
"What are you doing?!" shouted Hyperzio.
"Shut up!" grunted Dracolast, struggling to hold up his shield. "Your shoulder cannons, you keep trying to fire them; can they defeat Elimiphlaren?"
"That doesn't matt-"
"Of course it does! Of all times, right now, it does matter!"
"Why? What's the point?"
"CAN YOUR DAMN GUN KILL HIM OR NOT?!"
"I'm not sure, it's my most powerful weapon but-"
"Well that'll just have to do then!" Dracolast grinned as he aimed his arm rockets at the part where Elimiphlaren's beam was hitting his shield. "It was an honour, Commander Hyperzio".
"Wait!" Hyperzio begged. "You may be immune to your own explosive damage, but you are still going to take the full force of an Angelic blast!"
"Oh, yeah? Well that's too bad!" Dracolast said heroically as he released his shield and fired at the same time. The explosion interrupted the beam, sent Dracolast flying backwards through the air and distracted Elimiphlaren. Dracolast's health gauge had been completely depleted and his body crashed to the ground.
"Dracolast!" Hyperzio cried. He turned his gaze back to Elimiphlaren, but he was still obscured by smoke.
Hyperzio's visor turned a bright red. Rage obscured his judgement as he blindly fired two powerful, electrically-charged beams from his shoulder cannons, cutting through the smoke and striking Elimiphlaren in the arm and chest. Elimiphlaren's left arm was blown off and his health dropped to less than ten percent; electricity was dispersed over his armour and was slowly draining his remaining health. He was barely able to flap his wings and was even struggling to simply hover. Nevertheless, he rose up into the air and started flying away from the battlefield.
"Attention, Anti-Earth forces", he whimpered over the communications. "Ceasefire and retreat. The Alliance has captured this base". The final Mylialta of squadron 2B rushed towards the injured Elimiphlaren, obsessively firing to deplete that tiny amount of health the Angel still possessed; desperate to avenge his team.
"I said", Elimiphlaren's anger raged as he mustered up all the power he could. "Cease FIRE!" a powerful wave of flames burnt straight through the fighter, and it plummeted to the surface, exploding on impact. Elimiphlaren continued upwards and boarded a Shutenghen that started to leave Iceikco's atmosphere.
Seeing the fighter crash nearby, Hyperzio started laughing hysterically, "You think I give a damn about your retreat orders, Elimiphlaren?" The other members of the Ultrayan Alliance stared at Hyperzio as he gave a new command over the communications: "Fire the Turi Cannon at the ship Elimiphlaren just boarded".
