As buildings around them started to crumble under Ru-Flare's intense flames, Hyperzio and Skyswipe clashed swords at rapid speeds. Each clash didn't last long which left Hyperzio's claymore unable to administer any electrical damage. Another clash. As soon as Skyswipe broke away, Hyperzio lowered his shoulder cannons and fired a continuous beam of electrical energy. Skyswipe folded his wings in and spun out of the beam's line of fire. He unfolded his wings once again and swooped in for another attack. His two swords collided with the claymore for significantly longer this time, allowing Hyperzio to electrocute Skyswipe. Only a shred of his health bar was depleted, but it was enough to anger Skyswipe.

"You think you're so smart, don't you?!" Skyswipe shouted. "Well I guess I'll show you something new that I've been working on then!" Skyswipe's wings glowed, folded in and then he dove directly at Hyperzio.

'How is this new?' Hyperzio wondered. 'I've seen it a million times, heck, I'm the one that taught him this! When his physical blades are tucked inside his wings, the wings become sword-like, emitting off a glow as they do so. By tucking said wings in, his entire body becomes like the tip of the sword. Does he think I've forgotten?'

As Skyswipe approached, Hyperzio swung his electrified blade towards his former Guardian's flight path. However, Skyswipe quickly unfolded his wings and looped back on himself. Hyperzio's strike missed, and he was now wide-open; his defensive stance was broken. Skyswipe folded in his wings again and continued the loop, putting himself back onto his original flight path and repeating his initial assault, only this time with increased velocity and power at a defenceless target. Hyperzio struggled to dodge and Skyswipe rushed past him, Skyswipe's razor-sharp wing severed Hyperzio's left shoulder cannon and scratched the side of his visor. Skyswipe halted in the air above Hyperzio, laughing.

"A feint?" Hyperzio looked back at his sparking shoulder. "When did you become such a coward?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, Master", Skyswipe mocked. "I'll try to make this fight-to-the-death fairer on you".

Anmarina jumped in the air to avoid another one of Grouslash's surprise attacks; he kept jumping in and out of the ground. Upon realisation of his miss, Grouslash dove back underground.

'He's slow', Anmarina thought as she carefully scanned the ground. She spied two bladed fins start to rise up from the ground, 'There!' Anmarina blasted the fins with pressurised water as soon as Grouslash started to jump out. He spiralled out of control and crashed into the concrete. Anmarina unfolded her harpoon guns and fired at Grouslash. The harpoon struck his forehead... but nothing happened; the harpoon fell to the floor and not a scratch was left on him.

'What?!' Anmarina was confused as she surveyed Grouslash's armour. 'Shiny and clean? Wait... Hyperzio mentioned an armour that should not be destroyed'. "Hyperzio!"

"What is it?!" Hyperzio angrily asked, still in pain.

"Grouslash has Sabrecut armour as well!" Anmarina stated. She grunted and reached for her Mulria with her free hand but Grouslash rushed her down before she could pull the trigger. Anmarina pushed Grouslash back with water, preventing a follow-up attack.

"Behind you!" Hyperzio called out. Skyswipe was flying at Anmarina at full speed; wings tucked in and glowing. Anmarina aimed her water cannons downwards and fired; she launched herself into the air momentarily, forcing Skyswipe to pass beneath her. Anmarina slashed along Skyswipe's waist with her sword as she soared above. Skyswipe wobbled out of control and struggled to land next to Grouslash; he had to dig his sword into the ground to slow himself down. Skyswipe looked up at his health bar: Anmarina had taken off around twenty percent of it with one precise strike. Skyswipe glared at her with a crimson visor. Anmarina grinned as she raised her Mulria and used her sword-holding arm as a rest for the barrel; she emptied the rest of the magazine into the two enemies before reloading. Hyperzio jumped up above Anmarina; the six spikes on his backpack extended and shot out a barrage of missiles that arced in front of him, heading towards Skyswipe and Grouslash.
