Nikki: So, after Devin and I finished our conversation, I took him back to my jeep. While driving, I asked him, "Do you want anything to eat?" He replied with a yes, and we shared a laugh. "Don't you dare tell me you pervert because I'm not thinking on those levels," I teased.

D.C: "Nikki, you read my mind. I'm very impressed," he said, smiling slightly. "You are such a pervy," I responded as we arrived at the Big Stack House restaurant.

[At the restaurant, they placed their orders, and Devin got the same food as Nikki.]

Is this a new restaurant?" Devin inquired.

Nikki: "Yes, it's my second time here. The first time I came with all my new friends," I replied. After an hour or two, the waiter brought us our food, and we thanked her.

D.C: "So, Nikki, what's this new school like?" Devin asked.

Nikki: "Well, it's a good school, but it's strict about getting homework done. Plus, our principal, Zoey Smith, has a nice, somewhat nasty attitude, and she doesn't play around," I explained.

D.C: "So, in other words, if you don't do your homework and go to classes on time, she's going to suspend you?" Devin inquired.

Nikki: "Yes, pretty much," I confirmed.

[After finishing their meal, they paid and left the restaurant. Nikki resumed driving back to the school.]

Nikki: "Since you're going to be a new student, I'll show you to the principal's office when we get there," I informed Devin.

D.C: "Alright, that's fine," he agreed.

[After an hour or two, they arrived back on campus, found a parking spot, and headed to Nikki's dorm.]

Nikki: "I've got to take my friends their food so you can meet them now," I told Devin.

D.C: "Alright," he replied.

[Nikki and Devin went to Nikki's dorm, where her friends eagerly greeted them.]

Nikki: "Guys, I want y'all to meet this guy named Devin Calaway. He's a bad boy, and a Mafia king, I introduced.

D.C: "Nice to meet you all," Devin greeted Nikki's friends.

[Nikki provided introductions for all her friends. The group learned that Devin was adopted and searching for his real parents.]

D.C: "Right, that's why I had Nikki lie to you guys. I'm sorry; that's my fault. I'm also the king of death hunters," Devin confessed.

[After some initial shock, the friends spoke up.]

Friends: "Okay, well, don't ever do that again; we could have gotten hurt or killed," they cautioned Devin.

[Nikki and Devin left the room and headed to the principal's office.]

[After obtaining his class schedule and room card, Nikki and Devin discussed the need for an ID picture.]

Nikki: "You'll need to take a picture for your ID card to use on campus," I told Devin.

[They left the admission office, and Devin received his room keys.]

[Nikki received a text from Liam expressing his approval of Devin.]

Nikki: "Devin seems like a nice person," I said in response. I said to Liam in text messages

He is, but don't ever push him to the limits; the whole world could come to an end,

D.C: Miss Martian I know you like me and that's why you freeze when you look at me, I turned slightly to look at her.

Nikki: "Please, I don't even want you. Before I knew it, he had moved us into this dark room with his eyes glowing red and slammed me against the wall. 'Would you like to say that again, princess?' he asked."

[D.C, angry, yelled at Nikki and she couldn't speak for hours, shaking with fear. He grabbed her neck but he eventually released her and apologized.]

Nikki: "I'm sorry; I understand what you mean," Nikki told him, and he comforted her.

[Devin and Nikki shared a moment, embracing each other, as they navigated their complex relationship.]
