After we got on campus, I parked the truck and turned it off. As we stepped out, I made my way to the principal's office, receiving the same spiel my sister Nikki did about staying out of trouble, etc.
Following Liam and Devin, I headed to the boys' side of the dorm. Finally reaching the room, I discovered I'd be sharing it with them and another guy named Jacob, who I later found out was also Nikki's friend. Across the hall, her other friend Adam was with a different group of boys.
After settling my things in the room, I quickly set everything up. After about an hour, I made my bed, took a quick shower, threw on some baggy clothes, grabbed my room keys and card, and headed to the elevator, knocking on my sister's door once I reached her floor.
**Nikki:** I was in the middle of my classes when I heard a knock on my door. Getting up, I opened it to find my annoying brother standing there. I welcomed him in, continuing to work on my assignments. After finishing up, I submitted them and spent the rest of the day chilling with my brother.
**Caleb:** "Sis, did you want to grab something to eat before I head back up to my room?" I asked.
"Yeah, we can go because we gotta get up early in the morning," Nikki replied as I tossed her my car keys. We headed to the elevator and soon found ourselves in the parking lot, hopping into my car and driving off-campus to the big stack house.
After parking, we went inside, grabbed menus, and took a seat. "Did you want to get it to go or eat here?" I asked Nikki.
"We can eat here, then we can take some leftovers home," she replied.
"Alright, that's fine," I agreed. After scanning the menu, we ordered a lot of food and chatted while waiting for our orders to arrive. When the food came, we still had plenty left for leftovers.
After Caleb,carried the bags to the car, we hopped in and I drove back to campus, taking care to drive safely. We set at a red light for what felt like ages before it finally changed to green. Once back on campus, I parked in the student parking lot, handed Caleb his car keys, and kissed him on the head, bidding him goodnight.
Back on the elevator, I headed to my room, checking the time. It was 10:09 pm, not too late. I stashed my food in the refrigerator and headed for bed, feeling grateful for the quiet moment and looking forward to some much-needed rest.
