After the meeting ended from the Dawn of Strategy, we all went our separate ways, each of us with a crucial task. By the time night fell, the entire group had reconvened in Nikki's dorm room. The clock showed 11:30 PM, and a palpable sense of urgency hung in the air as they settled into their seats.

Nikki stood at the center, her face illuminated by the dim light of a desk lamp. "Thanks for coming back, everyone," she began, her voice steady. "I've been digging into the legend Madison mentioned, and I think I've found some important information."

She spread out a few ancient-looking pages on the table. "These creatures, according to the legend, are called 'Nyx Beasts.' They were created by a sorcerer long ago to protect a hidden relic of immense power. The legend suggests that someone could be trying to summon them to find this relic."

Caleb nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. If these beasts are protectors, then whoever is summoning them must be after the relic."

Madison added, "The relic is said to be an artifact of great magical energy. If it falls into the wrong hands, it could be catastrophic."

Nikki looked around the room, meeting each of their eyes. "We need to figure out who's behind this and stop them before they find the relic. But first, let's go over what everyone else has discovered."

She turned to Adam and Raven. "What did you guys find out from the patrols?"

Adam spoke up. "We didn't see any more creatures, but we did notice some strange behavior among the students. A few of them have been sneaking out late at night, heading towards the old library on the edge of campus."

Raven nodded. "We tried to follow them, but they seemed to disappear as soon as they entered the library. It's suspicious."

Nikki's brow furrowed. "The old library... it could be connected. Good work, you two."

She then looked at Jasmine and Devin. "How about the traps and preparations?"

Jasmine smiled slightly. "We managed to build a few traps with the materials from my dad's store. They're hidden around the school's perimeter. If any creatures try to get in, they'll be caught."

Devin added, "We also found some old spell books that might help us reinforce the traps and make them more effective."

Nikki nodded appreciatively. "Great job. We'll need all the defenses we can get."

Finally, she turned to the rest of the group. "What about you guys? Did you hear anything interesting?"

One of the students, Justin spoke up. "There's a lot of talk about strange dreams. A lot of students have been having nightmares about the creatures and an old man who seems to be controlling them."

Another student, Alexis added, "I heard a rumor about a secret society on campus. They're involved in some dark magic rituals."

Nikki's eyes widened. "This could be it. The secret society might be the key to everything. If they're using dark magic to summon the Nyx Beasts, we need to find them and stop them."

She took a deep breath, looking around at her friends and allies. "We have a lot of work ahead of us. Tomorrow, we'll investigate the old library and try to find this secret society. We need to be prepared for anything."

As the group nodded in agreement, a sense of determination settled over them. They were on the right track, and together, they would uncover the truth and protect their school from the looming threat.

Nikki smiled slightly, feeling a renewed sense of hope. "Get some rest, everyone. We'll need our strength for tomorrow. And remember, we're in this together. We can do this."

With that, the group dispersed, ready to face whatever
challenges the next day would bring.
