Chapter 33

I walked to the door leading outback. Narcissa was setting up a blanket for us all to sit on. I rushed outside to see her.

The second I reached her I snaked my arms around her waist, "guess who" I smirked.

"Hmm, I'm not sure. I guess I'll have to tickle them to find out" and with that, she turned around in my arms and attacked my waist. I wrapped my arms around myself, giggling ferociously as Narcissa continued to tickle me.

"STOP PLEASE" I yelled through laugher, my stomach felt tight from all the struggling.

She finally stopped tickling me and hugged me, I could hear her heart beating against her chest. "Sorry, I couldn't resist" she laughed as we sat down. Remembering the conversation I had with Bella earlier, I suddenly felt sad. I couldn't keep this from her, it isn't right.

She could sense there was a change in my mood as she lifted my chin up with her finger to get a closer look. "Tell me what's wrong beautiful" she spoke calmly.

"I should have told you earlier, I didn't want to hurt you" her eyes flickered and worry came over her. She cupped my cheeks frantically, "darling, you won't hurt me. Please tell me what it is, it's clearly bothering you"

"It's what Pansy said" her expression softened.

"Oh baby, don't worry about that. She apologised, everything is alright now" she said, holding me close. I shook my head as a few tears fell down my flushed cheeks. "Baby, please look at me" she whispered. I slowly lifted my head up, my eyes huge with regret.

"She told me it was weird that we are together Cissy... but it's not!" I sobbed into her arms. She held me close to her, helping me feel safe while stroking my hair.

"Shh, darling. I don't want this to affect you, she was drunk and didn't mean what she said" she whispered. I wanted to believe her and I know she apologised but I just can't.

"But it really hurt me Narcissa" I sobbed as she continued to soothe me.

"Y/N her words don't hurt me. She is my son's girlfriend, that means nothing. But you, you are my everything and seeing you hurt like this is killing me inside. I want you to know that I am not affected by this so please don't beat yourself up"

I looked back up at her with teary eyes and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "Thank you. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love you Narcissa Malfoy" I sniffled and her smile grew wide as she kissed me in return.

The kisses grew more passionate and hungry. She pulled me onto her lap so she could hold me by my love handles. I ran my fingers through her hair moaning ever so slightly at her touch.

Just as things were about to escalate, we heard someone clear their throat behind us. Immediately breaking apart, we turned to see an awkward Bellatrix standing behind us. "I hope you two aren't going to be like this the whole time I'm sat here. Having to socialise with three teenagers is torture enough"

Narcissa and I burst out laughing at Bella's comment and she looked at us weirdly, "I am serious!" she scowling, making us laugh even more.

"God Bella, you sound like a toddler" Narcissa giggled and Bella's brows furrowed even further. "Forget it, come and sit down" Cissy smirked at me. I watched as she huffed before padding over to the picnic blanket and sitting down next to me.

We hadn't been sat talking for long until we were joined by Draco and Pansy. As soon as she came into my view, I tensed up earning Narcissa's hand on my knee. I gave her a quick look of appreciation and she returned the favour with a smile.

"Thank you for the invitation mother" Draco smiled, pouring himself and Pansy a glass of fresh orange.

"Actually, it was Y/N's idea" she winked, I blushed slightly and looked down in my lap.

"Really? Thank you Y/N" I heard Pansy say, she sounded so calm. So normal. I looked at her and smiled.

"That's alright" I spoke quietly, she probably didn't even hear it.
