3rd Person POV

"Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Liu, as you may know I'm here for two reasons, one about a business deal between us, and two, about your family issue." said Ray. "I totally didn't mean to intervene into your business, but I have to tell you this as a warning to you as the Lins are not as good as you think they presented themselves to be."

Mr. and Mrs. Liu looked at each other, confused.

Ray then laid out a series of documents. "Okay, the Lins may appear to be a prestigious company with a famous base, high profits and favourable offers, but actually, they're all just a facade. They involve in illegal businesses such as bootlegging and involving in illegal businesses. They take money from other companies and now there are three companies that are bankrupt all because of them. They usually bribe the companies into collaborating with them in a business deal and give them a lot of money. However, they also requested for payback and the amount they received is about thrice as much as the money received from those companies!" said Mr. Chen. "And if they don't pay back, they will make sure they'll go bankrupt and once these companies are, they'll take all the money from them, including those saved for their personal reasons until they have not a single shilling left. After hearing all of this, are you still cemented on the idea that you would like a business deal and arranging a marriage with them? If yes, then you would be in great danger of being imprisoned as you are working with a company doing illegal business deals, plus losing everything."

Mr. Liu turned white. "No, no no no no no way. Terry's really nice. I don't believe it!"

"Marshal, it's true this time." said Mrs. Liu. "They indeed are a part of illegal business deals. They might be rich on the outside but we would end up in jail. That's even worse!"

"No way!" said Mr. Liu as he stopped mid sentence, to slowly realise how much he had let his desire for riches and fam engulf himself. He didn't realise that he is putting both himself and his daughter into danger. He had let his greed overtaken him, causing him to lose his mind on what's right or wrong.

"Fine," said Mr. Liu. "You've convinced me. But what now? Terry is going to have me go bankrupt and I don't know if the both of them are going to take away all my money since we've rejected their offer. We failed to meet their needs."

"I'm also here to offer you another deal. You'll work with us and we will help you. You will have double income as well as a shortened working time. So would you like to work with us, or work with them?" asked Ray.

"I'll work with you guys, please. Thank you very much." said Mrs. Liu, shaking her head, indicating dissatisfaction on the Lins and how much trust and devotion she had given them. It all turned out to be in vain because she realised that she was giving away so much for nothing.

"Very good." said Ray. "Don't worry, Mr. and Mrs. Liu. I would also protect your business from going bankrupt as we're going to support you with some basic fundamental costs first. Now we're going to visit the Lins to condemn them from their illegal business deals so you would have nothing to worry about. They would end up in jail."

"Oh...okay," said Mr. Liu, which is what he could only say at the moment.

"Now if you excuse me, please also release your daughter." said Ray.

"What, why did you know she was locked up?" asked Mrs Liu.

"I have my ways. I will go visit the Lins now." said Ray as he left the residence. "Good bye, Mr and Mrs Liu."

"Bye," said Mr and Mrs Liu. "Drive safely!"

I should have revealed my identity as Angela's mathematics teacher too, thought Ray. But never mind. Angela's grades do be improving, they'll see for themselves eventually. That's also the reason why I had their working time cut short. They have to spend more time with Angela instead of neglecting the poor girl.
