Chapter 27

A week passed in the year of 2019 and we are back to our own work and daily grind. Both of us is busy on our incoming albums and practices for dancing like what we used to.

Mark said to me that he's going to have a lot of responsibilities that incoming and I understand that. Both of us talked about what we should do inside the working life we have same as our love life.

We didn't see each other in a week but we managed to update each other through calls and text. I find it a new challenge of my life, I realize that it's hard to have this kind of life but worth it if you see him in front of you.

I'm sipping my coffee and I sensed his gaze on me so I looked at him. He licked his lower lip before speaking.

"I think it will be hard for us to have time for each other. But, I'll make a way for us." He said.

I let out a sigh and held his hand. "Mark, we both know what we should do right? It's fine, don't pressure yourself too much."

He bit his lower lip. "Okay, I love you." He stood up and kissed my temple.

"Take care." I said and he nod.

I watched him exited the shop and take his steps through the streets wearing his black hoodie and mask.

He walked fast in pace until I can't see him anymore. I looked down on my watch, 9:30 am. I grabbed my bag and put my mask on before exiting the place.

I called the girls and they told me that they're on TBL. I walked and take a bus lowering my cap so people won't recognize me.

I slowed my walking pace inside the building until I reached the studio.

They're sitting on the long couch behind Teddy. "Annyeonghaseyo." I greeted.

"Oh, Hey." Teddy waved his hand.

"Where have you been?" Lisa asked.

"I just had a talk with Mark." I said and sat. beside her.

I removed my mask and watched Jisoo unnie hitting high notes on the recording mic.

"Let's repeat that part, oppa." She said to Teddy not feeling satisfied.

She repeated her part two times and it's my part next. I warmed up my voice for a minute and went inside the recording room.

"That's the first chorus, Rosie." He said and I nod while wearing headphones.

"3, 2, 1.." He counted.

And I started singing the chorus in high notes.

I stopped on that part and Jisoo unnie's verse came in. I looked at Teddy on the transparent screen watching his expression on my first try.

"That was good. Let's keep it and try one more time." He said and I nod.

I tried another one and he's satisfied with it. Lisa did the next verses. I sat next to Jennie unnie.
