Chapter 30

"Mom.." I cried on her shoulder when the three of them arrived at Incheon.

"Shh..I'm here now." She told me and cupped my cheeks "You look so beautifully fragile.." She added a laugh but she sounded hurt.

I feel guilty, she knows what happened between me and him. She still can't process it until now and I feel sorry for her, for making her worry.

After hugging the three of them I wiped my tears and I saw my Dad's gaze on me. I gave him a small smile but he looked away. My smile faded and my sister held my hand as we all walked inside our van and left the place.

My Dad knew it too and I'm not surprised about it. He's not talking about it and he just kept moving away the topic everytime I ask him if he's okay. I know he's worried about me. I also don't know if he's mad at me.

"This place is huge, Roseanne. How much is this?" Mom asked me after entering my house.

"Uhh..Seven digits." I just said.

"Really?" Alice asked and I slowly nod.

"Some of the furnitures are already here and I also bought it." I explained and my Mom seem shock but still nod.

"I already prepared your room, Mom, Dad. You should take a rest..you had a long flight." I said to both of them.

"But I still want to talk to you.." Mom told me and I smiled.

"We can talk later, your luggage is upstairs already....manager-nim brought it there, go straight then left that's your room." I said and held her arm to convince her.

"But-"

"Honey, come on..don't stress her out." Dad told her and both of them walked upstairs.

I sighed and faced Alice. "What about me? Where's my room?" She asked while sitting comfortably on the couch.

"We'll share a room together." I said and turned on the TV while sitting beside her.

"No way." She said while pouting.

"Yes way." I said.

"Gosh..I can't believe that he cheated on you." She said and I rolled my eyes.

"I mean him cheating? No, I don't think so.." She added.

"Are you my sister or not?" I asked unbelievably.

"Hey, that kind of a person won't cheat on you, Roseanne. Think about it, he's one of a kind..like he gave you a promise ring that costs a person and no one do that these days." She explained exaggerated.

I sighed. "You're too exaggerated. Look, not all people do promises." I told her.

"Yes, girl I know but did you hear anything from him?" She asked making me stunned.

"Like w-what?" I asked.

She throw her hands in the air. "That's the problem. I can't believe you, Park Chaeyoung." She said.

"What?"

She let out a sigh. "You never listen to his explanation don't you? You never heard his side and then you concluded already that he cheated." She said.

"Look, I heard the proof with my own ears, unnie. He has a h-hickey on his neck that day talking to me." I told her and I feel like it's flashing back in my head again.
